About the Team
As a Senior Services Executive in our Diversified Industries group, you will serve as a high-impact Trusted Advisor and the strategic bridge between our Customers, Account Executives, and our broader Customer Experience organization. The Diversified Industries team supports a massive variety of sectors—ranging from Retail and Tech to Manufacturing and Professional Services—ensuring that every customer, regardless of their field, is set up to achieve maximum value from our platform.
Our team plays a critical role in connecting services and sales organizations. We don’t just support subscription sales; we differentiate our brand by showcasing our unique methodology and ensuring customers are positioned for long-term success. We are brand ambassadors who operate with integrity, protecting our proven track record of customer satisfaction while driving the adoption of new innovations across a wide-ranging portfolio of businesses.
About the Role
In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of Professional Services business development and Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies for our Diversified Industries segment. You will be a key member of the Field Services team, working across various direct and indirect sales motions to help prospects visualize their journey from contract signature to "Go-Live" and beyond.
Leveraging your experience in consulting sales and delivery management, you will help prospects build a roadmap for Value Realization. This includes providing guidance on change management, resource modeling, and digital transformation timelines. You will position our SaaS solutions as the modern alternative to legacy systems and act as a specialist in our innovative deployment methodology. If you are a self-starter who is passionate about guiding customers through complex transformation journeys in a fast-paced, multi-industry environment, this is the place for you.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Positioning: Deeply understand the competitive landscape across multiple industries to effectively position the value of our Global Services and packaged offerings.
- GTM Collaboration: Partner with Account Executives, Pre-sales, and Customer Success Managers to determine the services strategy for both strategic net-new acquisitions and base accounts.
- Consultative Selling: Act as the GTM lead for showcasing the impact of our full portfolio of service offerings, conducting discovery sessions that uncover unique business drivers across different industry verticals.
- Roadmap Development: Qualify and lead transformation strategies for prospects, including the creation and validation of detailed proposals, resource estimates, and high-level project plans.
- Value Realization: Help customers plan for a successful roadmap that includes advisory on driving change, resource optimization, and long-term platform consumption.
- Partner Synergy: Nurture mutually beneficial relationships with our ecosystem of Service Partners to ensure unified delivery and project health.
- Contractual Leadership: Lead, negotiate, and close Professional Services Agreements (PSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and respond to complex RFIs/RFPs.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain expert-level accuracy in forecasting and pipeline management to support the growth of the Diversified Industries business.
About You
- The Track Record: You have a proven, successful background in Professional Services sales, specifically within the ERP, HCM, or Financial Management or similar space.
- Delivery DNA: You aren't just a "seller"—you understand the mechanics of project delivery. You have hands-on experience managing or participating in complex implementation projects (e.g., HR, Payroll, Finance, or Analytics).
- Strategic Architect: You excel at creating and managing complex deal strategies. You know how to navigate sophisticated procurement cycles and are comfortable authoring and negotiating SOWs and PSAs.
- Industry Agility: Since you’ll be covering Diversified Industries, you are a quick study who can pivot your messaging to meet the unique needs of a retailer one day and a tech firm the next.
- Collaborative Leader: You are a self-starter who thrives in a "team sport" sales environment, working seamlessly with Account Executives, Partners, and Customer Success to drive long-term value.
- Communication Pro: Whether you’re leading a discovery session or responding to a complex RFP, you communicate with clarity, authority, and a "trusted advisor" mindset.

Our Approach to Flexible Work
With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
Pursuant to applicable Fair Chance law, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
Workday is an Equal Opportunity Employer including individuals with disabilities and protected veterans.
At Workday, we are committed to providing an accessible and inclusive hiring experience where all candidates can fully demonstrate their skills. If you require assistance or an accommodation at any point, please email accommodations@workday.com.

Which companies sponsor visas for executive management roles in Wyoming?
Energy and natural resources companies have been the most consistent sponsors for executive management roles in Wyoming. Employers like Sinclair Oil, CONSOL Energy, and large mining operations have filed for senior leadership positions under sponsorship pathways. State government agencies and the University of Wyoming also sponsor executive and administrative leadership roles, particularly when domestic candidate pools for specialized positions are limited.
Which visa types are most common for executive management roles in Wyoming?
The H-1B is the most widely used visa for executive management roles that require a specialized degree, such as operations directors or finance executives. The L-1A is common for multinational companies transferring managers or executives into Wyoming operations from an affiliated foreign office. For particularly distinguished executives, the O-1A is an option, though it requires substantial evidence of extraordinary achievement in the field.
Which cities in Wyoming have the most executive management sponsorship jobs?
Cheyenne, as the state capital, hosts the largest concentration of corporate offices, state agencies, and energy sector headquarters, making it the primary hub for executive management sponsorship activity. Casper follows closely, driven by its oil and gas industry presence. Laramie sees demand through the University of Wyoming for senior administrative and research leadership roles.
How to find executive management visa sponsorship jobs in Wyoming?
Migrate Mate is a dedicated job board that filters openings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, including executive management roles in Wyoming. Rather than sorting through general listings, you can search directly for senior leadership positions where employers have indicated sponsorship willingness. Given Wyoming's concentrated industries, filtering by energy, mining, or higher education on Migrate Mate can help narrow results quickly.
Are there any state-specific considerations for executive management visa sponsorship in Wyoming?
Wyoming's small population and industry concentration mean the executive job market is narrower than in larger states, so sponsorship opportunities are less frequent but tend to be substantive, senior roles. Employers filing H-1B or L-1A petitions for executives must meet prevailing wage requirements as determined by the Department of Labor for the Cheyenne or Casper metropolitan areas, which reflect Wyoming's regional cost structure. Building direct relationships with Wyoming employers is particularly important given the limited volume of open postings.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored executive management jobs in Wyoming?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
