Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Psychiatrist who can speak Mandarin AND Cantonese to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will provide expert psychiatric care to children and adolescents, utilizing your extensive knowledge of pediatric psychiatry and mental health treatment modalities. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for children and adolescents.
- Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, cognitive behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based interventions.
- Provide ongoing mental health counseling and crisis management for patients experiencing acute or chronic psychiatric issues.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including working with individuals with developmental disabilities or PTSD.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, patient records, and intake notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to extend psychiatric services remotely when appropriate.
- Educate families and caregivers on treatment options, medication management, and coping strategies.
