JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS
The Cardiovascular (CV) MRI Clinical Applications Specialist is responsible for performing all MR exams in accordance with standards and practice set forth by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and Radiology Department policies and procedures. The CV MRI Application Specialist will run research pulse sequences and teach MRI procedures to other technologists. The CV MRI Clinical Applications Specialist demonstrates knowledge of appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of all cardiovascular procedures.
What qualifications you will need:
- Minimum of two years of cardiovascular MRI scanning experience- required
- Minimum of five years of general MRI experience- required
- Experience in research administrative process which may include (but is not limited to) enrollment of subjects into research protocols, scheduling, follow-up of subjects, and participation in research protocol management.
- Expert level of knowledge of general and cardiovascular anatomy, disease processes and functions required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- (ARRT-R) Radiography
- Associate Degree
