The Advanced Lawyer is responsible for providing high-quality, strategic legal advice to Business Line clients and Law Department colleagues on legal matters stewarded by the Company while developing subject matter expertise. This role requires teamwork, collaboration, and initiative.

- Provide day-to-day high-quality, strategic legal advice to Business Line clients and Law Department colleagues on legal matters stewarded by the Company
- Conduct and/or coordinate research into legal issues stewarded by or otherwise impacting the Company
- Anticipate and take proactive steps to identify and mitigate legal exposure and risks consistent with Company risk portfolio
- Facilitate implementation of proactive solutions to improve efficiency and drive effective business results
- Interface with external counsel on significant transactions, regulatory matters, and disputes
- Develop and enhance legal expertise and comprehensive understanding of relevant legal issues impacting the Company
- Collaborate with Law Department colleagues across various departments and affiliates
