Operations Coordinator Jobs in USA with Visa Sponsorship
Operations coordinators face H-1B visa challenges at the entry level because many general coordination roles do not specify degree requirements, but analytically driven positions at Amazon, Google, Tesla, and consulting firms like Deloitte and Accenture sponsor when the role requires degrees in industrial engineering, business analytics, or operations management and involves process optimization and data analysis. F-1 OPT is the most common starting authorization, with promotion to operations manager or business analyst within 12 to 24 months significantly strengthening sponsorship viability.

Amazon Operations Coordinator Roles Have Established Sponsorship
Amazon's fulfillment, transportation, and supply chain operations teams hire coordinators with supply chain or engineering degrees and file H-1B petitions at scale. Starting compensation is $50,000 to $75,000 with stock vesting that increases total compensation significantly.

Operations coordinator roles specifying degrees in industrial engineering, operations research, business analytics, or supply chain management have viable H-1B classification. General administrative coordinator titles without specific degree requirements are unlikely to be approved by USCIS.
Tech Company BizOps Coordinator Roles Pay More
Operations coordinator positions at Google, Meta, Stripe, and Uber within business operations teams pay $70,000 to $100,000 and require analytical skills that support specialty occupation arguments. Target roles titled Business Operations Coordinator or Strategy & Operations Associate.
F-1 OPT Provides Time to Build Your Case
Enter an operations coordinator role on F-1 OPT after a U.S. degree, with STEM-designated programs providing 36 months of work authorization. Use this window to deliver measurable process improvements and earn promotion to operations manager where H-1B sponsorship strengthens.
Build Data Analysis Skills to Transition Faster
Operations coordinators who develop SQL, Tableau, Python, and process mining skills transition to operations analyst or business analyst roles with stronger H-1B classification. These analytical roles carry higher salaries and more specific degree requirements that USCIS recognizes.
Healthcare Operations at Nonprofit Hospitals Offers Cap-Exempt Filing
Operations coordinators at university-affiliated hospitals and nonprofit health systems in clinical operations, surgical scheduling, or patient flow optimization qualify for cap-exempt H-1B. Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins, and Mass General Brigham file year-round without lottery.
