Reporting to the Project Director, you will work cross-functionally across engineering teams, providing technical translation and interpretation in meetings and documentation between English and Mandarin Chinese.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interpreting Communication: Attend meetings to facilitate clear communication between Chinese-speaking and US-based engineers across Process Engineering, Global Engineering Center, Quality, Operations, and Manufacturing teams.
- Industry Terminology: Maintain a clear understanding of technical terminologies within the manufacturing industry.
- Technical Translation: Translate technical documents, reports, manuals, specifications, and CAD drawings for engineering and maintenance teams.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in Mandarin and English, with demonstrated skill in clear, accurate translation and interpretation for both written and oral communication.
- Technical Background: Technical or engineering background/knowledge preferred.
