Warehouse Jobs in New Hampshire: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a warehouse worker in New Hampshire?
Most warehouse positions in New Hampshire do not require a state-issued license, but forklift operators must hold a valid certification, which employers typically provide through on-site OSHA-compliant training. A high school diploma or GED is the standard minimum education requirement. Candidates with prior experience in receiving, shipping, or inventory roles and familiarity with warehouse management software are most competitive in the New Hampshire market.
Which companies hire warehouse workers in New Hampshire?
Companies currently hiring warehouse workers in New Hampshire include Hubbell, GOFO, and UNFI, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. New Hampshire's southern tier, anchored by Manchester and Nashua, hosts a high concentration of distribution and fulfillment centers that hire warehouse staff on a rolling basis throughout the year.
Which New Hampshire cities have the most warehouse jobs?
Concord, Derry, and Dover have the most warehouse job openings in New Hampshire. Manchester and Nashua lead because of their proximity to major highway corridors and their dense concentration of distribution centers and light manufacturing operations, while Concord's role as the state capital draws additional logistics and supply chain activity from government-adjacent facilities.
Are there remote warehouse jobs in New Hampshire?
Yes, but they're rare. Warehouse work is fundamentally hands-on and tied to a physical location, so most openings require on-site presence. About 0% of warehouse openings tied to New Hampshire are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, and those roles typically involve inventory coordination, logistics scheduling, or warehouse management system oversight rather than floor-based operations.
How can I get hired as a warehouse worker in New Hampshire with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point is applying directly to temp-to-hire positions at distribution centers run by large New Hampshire employers, where no prior experience is required and on-the-job forklift certification is provided. Companies like Amazon and Hannaford regularly hire entry-level associates for order picking and receiving roles. Completing a free or low-cost OSHA forklift safety course before applying gives candidates a concrete edge over other first-time applicants.
Where can I find and apply to warehouse jobs in New Hampshire?
