- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using RF scanners, order pickers, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols using forklifts and other material handling tools.
- Maintain precise inventory levels through regular stock counting, stock replenishment, and inventory management software updates.
- Ensure shipping & receiving processes are completed swiftly by verifying shipments against purchase orders and shipping documents.
- Package products securely for shipment while complying with trade and international trade regulations.
- Support e-commerce order fulfillment by accurately processing online orders and coordinating with logistics teams.
- Assist with stocking shelves, organizing warehouse space, and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.
- Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve order discrepancies or shipping issues promptly.
- Use data entry skills to update records in AS400, MRP systems, or other warehouse software platforms as needed.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, and inventory management is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems like AS400 or similar platforms is a plus.
- Basic math skills are essential for counting stock, measuring packages, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks with proper certification is advantageous; training can be provided if necessary.
