Who's Hiring

Warehouse Jobs in Memphis: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a warehouse job in Memphis?
Focus your search on Memphis's major distribution corridors, including the Airport/Nonconnah area, the Shelby Drive industrial belt, and the growing Olive Branch and Southaven crossborder logistics hubs. Third-party logistics providers, regional grocery distributors, and e-commerce fulfillment centers hire most actively here. Candidates who hold a forklift certification, have experience with RF scanners, or can work overnight shifts move to the front of the line in this market.
Which companies hire warehouses in Memphis?
Employers hiring warehouses in Memphis right now include FedEx, Best Buy, and Efans Lift, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Memphis's position as a major inland logistics hub means you'll find a mix of global carriers, national retailers with regional distribution centers, and regional specialty distributors all competing for warehouse talent.
Are there remote warehouse jobs in Memphis?
Yes, though only for a narrow slice of roles, since most warehouse work is hands-on and requires a physical presence on the floor. About 0% of warehouse openings tied to Memphis are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, concentrated in inventory control, warehouse management system administration, and logistics coordination roles rather than picking, packing, or receiving.
How can I get a warehouse job in Memphis with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Memphis is temp-to-hire through one of the staffing agencies that serve the Airport/Nonconnah and Shelby Drive distribution corridors, where employers routinely hire with no prior warehouse background. Roles like general labor, order selector, and shipping and receiving associate are the most common entry points. Completing a free forklift safety course before applying, even without a full certification, signals initiative to Memphis hiring managers.
