Role Summary
Join Regal Rexnord’s rapidly growing Aerospace & Defense team and produce precision components using CNC and manual grinding processes. You’ll execute O/D, I/D, boring, and facing operations, keep tight tolerances, and contribute to a culture that values safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Day-one benefits and a $4,000 sign-on bonus included.
What You Will Do
- Set up, adjust, and operate grinding equipment (CNC and manual) for O/D, I/D, boring, and facing work.
- Use blueprints, process sheets, tooling instructions, and standard charts to determine specs; enter production and quality data into the ERP system.
- Independently configure and run two or more machines within the department (e.g., CNC/Manual, ID/OD, Centerless, Face).
- Verify part conformity using gauges and measurement tools; set and validate preset gauges to ensure calibration.
- Inspect your own output and review the work of other operators to uphold company quality and quantity standards; complete required documentation.
- Calculate dimensions, rotation speeds, feed rates, and machining times; operate multiple machines; use hand tools and manual machines as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience setting up and operating precision grinding machines.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with basic math.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions in English.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet throughout the shift; moderate physical activity required for tooling changes and adjustments.
Shifts Available
- 2nd Shift (M–F): 2:00 pm–10:00 pm
- 3rd Shift (Sun–Th): 10:00 pm–6:00 am
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly range based on experience/skills: $23.00–$33.00
