About the opportunity
The Assistant Director of Sales supports the Director of Sales in leading the property's sales efforts to drive revenue through group bookings, corporate accounts, meetings, and special events. This role assists in developing sales strategies, managing key client relationships, and supporting the sales team to achieve revenue goals.
What you'll get to do
- Assist in developing and implementing strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue goals
- Identify new business opportunities within corporate, group, and leisure markets
- Support sales initiatives that increase occupancy, event bookings, and overall property revenue
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, and event planners
- Conduct client meetings, site tours, and presentations to promote the property
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- 4-6 years of hotel sales or hospitality experience
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of hotel sales processes, group bookings, and event coordination
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to stand or walk during property tours and client meetings
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
