You’ll see a wide variety of cases and have the opportunity to flex your clinical expertise truly.
Job Description:
Position: Outpatient Audiologist
Location: MaineGeneral Medical Center, Augusta, ME
Schedule: Full-time | 40 hours per week
We proudly welcome both experienced Audiologists and new graduates to apply!
$15,000 sign-on bonus potential for experienced Audiologists!
- Available to candidates with at least one year of experience
- Must commit to a minimum of 30 hours per week
- Not available to current MaineGeneral employees or former employees separated for less than one year
$4,000 early acceptance incentive potential for new graduate Audiologists!
- Candidates are encouraged to apply at least 6 weeks before their graduation date; however, some exceptions may be made based on program needs and timing
- Offer letters should be signed within 1 week of receipt
- The incentive is paid in full in your first paycheck as an Audiologist
What You'll Do:
- Perform comprehensive audiological evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Conduct vestibular testing, including ENG evaluations
- Perform ABR evaluations and other advanced diagnostic procedures
- Diagnose hearing and balance disorders and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide counseling and education to patients and families
- Recommend and fit hearing aids and other assistive devices
- Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Document and coordinate care to ensure a seamless patient experience
