We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3 years plus in automotive service and repair. As an Automotive Technician, you will be diagnosing, repairing, vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. Technicians with problem solving skills, mechanical aptitude and a valid driver license move to the front of the line.
Duties
- This position is not a lube tech, or tire repair position.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, and mechanical systems.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment for calibration and repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with other technicians in a fast paced environment to ensure high-quality repairs.
- Perform heavy line repairs that include engine and transmission swaps as well as all other necessary repairs and services.
Skills
- Proficient knowledge of automotive repair techniques and practices.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on various makes and models of vehicles.
- Experience with powertrain systems, including engines and transmissions.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems for effective diagnostics and repairs.
- Experience working in a automotive shop is preferred but not mandatory.
