This is a hybrid opportunity working from our Little Rock, Arkansas office.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This team is seeking an individual who will contribute to the team in a number of ways and help support certain aspects of Aon’s clients. This individual will be asked to carry out the following:
- Team members supporting day-to-day service initiatives for clients
- Develops and maintains strategy plans for portfolio of clients
- Broker, Negotiate, and evaluate the insurance markets to include self-funded, fully insured and level funding medical plans, dental, vision, life, disability and voluntary ancillary benefits to determine appropriateness of rates and rate components for client renewals.
- Develop client or prospect RFP responses and results in a presentation deliverable
- Work with the insurance markets to obtain client specific reports on all lines of coverage. Generates and produces client specific benefit analysis and reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Seek and evaluate new and emerging insurance programs or point solution options for clients and prospects
- Establish relationships with various insurance carrier representatives
- Assist team/take the lead on client DD for M&A activity when the need arises
- Review and oversee compliance, contracts, SPD’s and employee communications to ensure alignment with client expectations and legal requirements
- Articulates data and sophisticated reports to clients.
- Develops sophisticated benefits design and renewal strategies and drive development of tools and solutions to manage complex client issues
- Schedules and conducts stewardship meetings, pre-renewal strategy and renewal meetings with key stakeholders
- Prepares open enrollment presentations and communications seeing the client open enrollment process through finality of effective date.
- Assists clients with EDI file feeds, payroll integration, HRIS/Benefit Administration system integration with markets.
- Operate independently and actively manage project plans
- May be responsible for the overall management of medium-sized projects
- Prioritizes work and takes ownership of tasks
- Strategic point of contact for client questions and deliverables
- Travel may be required
- Reporting to Health & Benefits Local Practice Leader
HOW THIS OPPORTUNITY IS DIFFERENT
This role offers the chance to be a true strategic partner to clients rather than a traditional “back-office” benefits technician. You will own a portfolio of clients end-to-end—from designing sophisticated benefit and funding strategies (self-funded, fully insured, level-funded, and ancillary) to leading RFPs, renewals, stewardship meetings, and open enrollment.
You will work directly with clients’ key decision-makers, lead due diligence for M&A activity, and help integrate benefits with HRIS and payroll systems, giving you broad exposure across both strategy and execution.
In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to evaluate emerging point solutions, shape data-driven insights and reporting, and build deep carrier relationships, all while operating with a high degree of autonomy under the guidance of the Health & Benefits Local Practice Leader.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 to 5 years of working experience in the Health and Benefits field
- Active Life and Health License
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
Education
Bachelor’s degree desired or equivalent work experience with preferred 3-5 years working within the Health and Benefits field.

PAY TRANSPARENCY LAWS
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $80,000 to $95,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
