Job Description

Yardstick Management is seeking a detail-oriented BI ETL Test Engineer to validate data integration processes and ensure the accuracy and reliability of business intelligence systems. The role focuses on testing data pipelines, verifying reports, and identifying issues across data warehouses and ETL workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Perform SQL-based testing and data reconciliation.
• Test data warehouse structures and BI reports.
• Identify, document, and track data-related defects.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and development teams.
• Support regression testing and improve quality assurance processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in BI, ETL testing, or data quality assurance.
• Strong SQL skills and database knowledge.
• Familiarity with ETL tools and data warehouse concepts.
• Experience testing BI platforms such as Power BI or Tableau is preferred.
• Knowledge of test management and defect-tracking tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
