Business Intelligence Jobs in Miami: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a business intelligence job in Miami?
Target Miami's strongest hiring sectors first: financial services firms in Brickell, health systems anchored around the Health District, and the growing tech and e-commerce companies in Wynwood and Doral. Fluency in SQL, Power BI, or Tableau is the baseline expectation, and bilingual candidates who can work with Spanish-speaking stakeholders across Latin American business units have a clear edge in this market.
Which companies hire business intelligences in Miami?
Companies currently hiring business intelligences in Miami include Citi, Aardy, and Alivi, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Miami's mix of multinational banks, regional health networks, and Latin American headquarters means openings appear across a wide range of employer sizes and industries.
Are there remote business intelligence jobs in Miami?
Yes, business intelligence work is well-suited to remote and hybrid arrangements because it centers on data analysis, dashboarding, and reporting rather than on-site operations. About 29% of business intelligence openings tied to Miami are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting strong employer flexibility in this field. Dashboard development and analytics roles tend to offer the most remote flexibility, while stakeholder-facing strategy roles more often require in-office presence in Brickell or Coral Gables.
How can I get a business intelligence job in Miami with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Miami is through a junior analyst or reporting analyst role at one of the city's large health systems, regional banks, or logistics firms in Doral and Miami Lakes, which regularly hire for entry-level data positions. Building a portfolio of Power BI or Tableau dashboards using publicly available datasets, then targeting companies with established BI teams, gives you a concrete advantage. Miami's strong startup scene in Wynwood also offers analyst internships that convert to full-time roles.
Which industries hire the most business intelligences in Miami?
Most business intelligence openings in Miami sit in Construction & Real Estate, Education, and Technology & Software, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Miami's role as a gateway for Latin American commerce drives particularly strong demand in financial services and logistics, where companies need BI professionals to translate cross-border data into actionable reporting.
