Northbound is looking for a Business Development Representative to establish professional, empathetic relationships with clients and maintains professional relationships with clients completing treatment post discharge.

Job Summary:

Responsible for proposing, developing and implementing sales and marketing initiatives. This position will collaborate with our local clinical programs and participate in overall Northbound strategic marketing planning, while focusing on growing their business in their target geographic region.

Duties & Essential Job Functions:

Strategy & Planning

· Participate in Northbound strategic planning process and create a region-specific marketing plan which aligns with corporate goals.

Professional Marketing

· Market our services to a range of professionals including (but not limited to) doctors, hospitals & clinics, psychiatrists, therapists, psychologists, educational consultants, school counselors, union representatives, interventionists, treatment providers, sober living homes, detoxification programs, and EAP administrators. In addition, develop new market opportunities and vendor affiliations to expand service lines. The Business Development Representative will be measured on activity, leads, admissions, tours, events, account conversion and prospecting. Specific goals will be set by the CMO, and are subject to change month to month. The Business Development Representative will work with the admissions, operations and clinical departments to help ensure our integrity in client care and carry out the company mission.

Regional Communications

· Ensure that an appropriate regional communications plan is in place to create awareness of Northbound and establish equity and acceptance of the brand.

Collaboration & Reporting

· Participate in weekly and monthly marketing and sales calls/meetings and provide daily tracking of activities in CRM system.

· Report all expenses in an organized and timely manner in accordance with the company expense policy.

Event Marketing

· Attend local and regional conferences and networking events as required to actively promote Northbound and expand awareness and knowledge of the brand. Assist in planning and execution of Webinars, speaking engagements, special events, panel participation and other marketing events.

Marketing Budget

· Adhere to the marketing budget, monitor marketing-related expenses and make adjustments as necessary.

Alumni Relations

· Follow-up with former alumni and work with the admissions department if alumni needs a higher level of care. Participate in quarterly alumni events to engage alumni and their loved ones in the Northbound culture and experience.

Qualifications:

Formal marketing education and/or field experience. Proven experience in strategic planning, communication, and execution. Familiarity with services provided by a residential treatment facility; understanding of the needs and expectations of clients in recovery; ability to communicate with and gain the confidence of referral sources, professional affiliates, clients and their families; ability to adapt and work within the firm’s culture; excellent interpersonal/oral/written communication skills; highly organized and motivated with ability to plan and execute work independently; able to prioritize and manage multiple work assignments. The position requires working knowledge of word processing, desktop publishing, presentation software, database management/spreadsheet applications, internet-based research and web marketing.

Required Licenses/Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Development, and or Clinical Degree or other related field experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
