Mid Level Business Sales Representative Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level business sales representative job?
Position yourself around ownership and results: highlight accounts you managed independently, revenue targets you hit or exceeded, and any cross-functional deals you led. Tailor your resume to show progression in deal complexity and client size, not just tenure. Employers hiring at this level want evidence you can run a full sales cycle and contribute to team strategy without close supervision.
Which companies hire mid level business sales representatives?
Companies hiring mid level business sales representatives right now include Jobot, Teasdale Fenton Cleaning & Property Restoration, and MCC, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level tends to concentrate among growth-stage companies expanding their sales teams, established enterprises backfilling experienced reps, and B2B technology firms scaling into new markets.
Are there remote mid level business sales representative jobs?
Yes, though availability depends on the employer and territory structure. About 50% of mid level business sales representative openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with fully remote roles most common in software, SaaS, and tech-enabled services where the sales motion is phone and video-based rather than in-person.
How do I move up to a mid level business sales representative role?
The path from entry level to mid level is built on demonstrated ownership. Focus on consistently hitting quota, taking on larger or more complex accounts, and showing you can manage a pipeline without daily guidance. Employers also look for reps who help onboard newer colleagues and contribute ideas to sales process improvements, which signals readiness for greater responsibility.
Which industries hire the most mid level business sales representatives?
Mid Level business sales representative roles concentrate in Staffing & Recruiting, Education, and Manufacturing, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive demand at this experience level because their sales cycles are complex enough to require seasoned reps who can build relationships, navigate multiple stakeholders, and close without heavy management support.
