Channel Account Manager Jobs in Massachusetts: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a channel account manager in Massachusetts?
Most channel account managers in Massachusetts enter the role through a combination of a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or technology and prior experience in inside sales, account management, or partner support. Massachusetts does not require a state-issued license for this role. Employers in the Greater Boston technology corridor typically look for candidates who have handled partner or reseller relationships, so building experience in a sales development or solutions consultant role first is the most reliable path.
How much do channel account managers make in Massachusetts?
Channel account managers in Massachusetts earn a median of about $79,810 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $47,940 for the lowest 10% to over $157,000 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire channel account managers in Massachusetts?
Employers hiring channel account managers in Massachusetts right now include Picus, Yubico, and KnowBe4, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Massachusetts's dense concentration of enterprise software, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure companies means channel roles here are frequently tied to national or global partner programs managed out of the state.
Which Massachusetts cities have the most channel account manager jobs?
Boston, Lexington, and Massachusetts hold the most channel account manager openings in Massachusetts. Boston and Cambridge drive the bulk of demand because of the region's concentration of technology company headquarters and regional offices, while Burlington has become a recognized hub for cybersecurity and networking firms whose channel programs generate consistent partner-facing hiring.
Are there remote channel account manager jobs in Massachusetts?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 67% of channel account manager openings tied to Massachusetts are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how much of the role is conducted through video calls, partner portals, and digital enablement tools. The most fully remote positions tend to be with software and cloud vendors where partner management is primarily relationship-driven rather than field-based.
How can I get hired as a channel account manager in Massachusetts with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into a channel coordinator or sales development representative role at one of the many technology companies based in the Greater Boston area and building partner-facing experience from there. Large Massachusetts employers like HubSpot and Cisco often post associate partner programs and rotational sales roles that serve as direct feeders into channel management. Completing a vendor-backed channel certification, such as those offered by major cloud or networking providers, also gives candidates a concrete edge when applying without direct channel experience.
Where can I find and apply to channel account manager jobs in Massachusetts?
You can find and apply to channel account manager jobs in Massachusetts on Migrate Mate, which lists current Massachusetts openings across technology, software, and enterprise solution companies. Find roles that fit your background and apply directly to the ones that match.
