Channel Partnerships Manager Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a channel partnerships manager in Texas?
There is no state-issued license required to work as a channel partnerships manager in Texas. Most Texas employers hire candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a technology-related field combined with hands-on experience in sales, account management, or partner-facing roles. Earning vendor-recognized certifications from major technology providers active in the Texas market, such as cloud or networking partner credentials, strengthens a candidacy considerably.
How much do channel partnerships managers make in Texas?
Channel partnerships managers in Texas earn a median of about $147,880 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $81,820 for the lowest 10% to over $259,200 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire channel partnerships managers in Texas?
Employers hiring channel partnerships managers in Texas right now include Amsys Innovative Solutions, Danfoss, and Fortinet, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Texas's concentration of technology headquarters, regional sales hubs, and telecom infrastructure makes it a primary market for companies staffing channel-focused roles at scale.
Which Texas cities have the most channel partnerships manager jobs?
Austin, Houston, and Richardson have the most channel partnerships manager openings in Texas. Austin's dense technology sector, Dallas's large enterprise software and telecom presence, and Houston's energy technology and managed services industry all drive consistent demand, while suburban corridors like Plano and Round Rock add volume through major corporate campuses anchored there.
Are there remote channel partnerships manager jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than most fields. Channel partnerships management is relationship-driven but largely desk-based, making it well suited to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 25% of channel partnerships manager openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting how broadly technology employers in this state have adopted flexible work policies. Partner enablement, program management, and reporting functions are the sub-areas most commonly offered remotely.
How can I get hired as a channel partnerships manager in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving laterally from an inside sales, business development representative, or account coordinator role at a Texas-based technology or telecom company. Large Texas employers such as Dell Technologies, Cisco's Austin offices, and regional managed service providers regularly hire associates into partner operations or channel sales support roles that feed into full partner manager positions. Building a vendor partner certification, even at an introductory level, and documenting any experience coordinating with external accounts gives a candidate a concrete edge in early applications.
