Internship Overview
The Engineer Intern will support active construction projects while learning core field engineering responsibilities under the guidance of experienced Construction Managers and engineers. This internship offers structured, hands-on exposure to jobsite operations, safety, quality control, and project documentation, with increasing responsibility throughout the summer.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with engineering tasks and jobsite inspections
- Learn to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Support site logistics, material tracking, and subcontractor coordination
- Participate in safety inspections, JHAs, and quality control activities
- Observe concrete work, crane operations, and wall panel installation
- Help prepare daily reports, as-built documentation, and issue logs
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Strong interest in construction and field operations
- Willingness to work outdoors on active job sites
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
- Commitment to safety and teamwork
