Role Overview
Our Client Partner team operates at a global scale, supporting IQVIA’s strategic clients in their asset development and commercialization. Responsible for fostering strong relationships with the most senior stakeholders in the client organization, their focus is on designing and delivering integrated solutions across Consulting, Analytics, Medical Affairs, Real World Evidence, and related services. They collaborate closely with the rest of the Global Account team and Account leads from multiple service teams of IQVIA to advance client accounts in line with both immediate priorities and long‑term strategic vision.
This role will operate across the client organization, particularly with senior global stakeholders in the franchise and functional teams to define and execute our priorities that move the client business forward, providing the conduit between the client and the rest of IQVIA.
Responsibilities
- Build and nurture relationships with key executives and decision-makers within a dedicated large Pharma Account
- Engage with these senior stakeholders with gravitas, challenging them to think differently and providing new perspectives on their Asset Strategy
- Drive overall business growth globally with a focus on increasing revenue, opening new business streams and deepening our footprint in the assigned global account and assigned target assets
- Lead the development of the Commercial & Medical Affairs account asset strategy with input from the broader account aligned team and orchestrate the operational execution including selection and planning around assets
- Be the internal expert on the client’s priority assets with deep understanding of its market, opportunities and risks
- Align the account asset strategy with RDS & RWE to ensure a joined up ‘Molecule to Market’ engagement
- Build long term relationships with asset and brand leaders within the client to ensure long term revenue growth for Commercial (inc. Analytics Solutions, Consulting, RWE & Appropriate Technology)
- Influence the client’s strategy and position IQVIA through thought leadership and innovation aligned to client strategic asset priorities. Leverage senior IQVIA resources and subject matter experts as needed in building preferred supplier relationships
- Proactively engage client asset and brand teams by anticipating client needs and leveraging the IQVIA Commercial expertise to develop both short- and long-term cross functional solutions
- Lead the Commercial go to market community for headquarters or global buying centers in areas such as Commercial Consulting, Analytics Solutions, RWE-C, Advanced Analytics etc.
Our Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have a track record of success across most of the following competencies:
- 15+ years’ combined experience in Strategy Consulting, with a deep understanding of client engagement and solution delivery and/or; in the Pharma & Life Sciences commercial domain, with a deep understanding of business strategy and the processes of major pharmaceutical companies
- Demonstrated success managing a balanced pipeline of short-term tactical opportunities and long-term strategic engagements, consistently exceeding ambitious sales targets across both single‑year and multi‑year deals
- Natural influencer, builds relationships easily
- Excellent consultative selling skills and ability to understand client needs and pull together cross functional teams to build a compelling solution
- Ability to engage with Senior Executives at client site (preferred) and remotely
- Expertise in building tailored and bespoke solutions for clients and crafting a compelling story; and generating big ideas that address significant client needs
- Collaboration and influence and persuasion skills
- Ability to navigate and operate well within a complex matrix environment
- Experience selling and negotiating large-scale and/or cross-functional solutions
- Brings Excellent communication, organizational skills, logical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $168,600.00 - $469,900.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
