Entry Level Clinical Care Coordinator Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level clinical care coordinator job?
Entry level clinical care coordinator employers look for candidates with a relevant degree in healthcare administration, nursing, social work, or a related field, plus any hands-on exposure through clinicals, internships, or volunteer work. Familiarity with care management software, strong communication skills, and any patient-facing experience, even in a support role, give candidates a clear edge at this stage over those with no clinical context at all.
Which companies hire entry level clinical care coordinators?
Companies hiring entry level clinical care coordinators right now include UnitedHealthcare, Essen Health Care, and Optum, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level tends to come from health systems, managed care organizations, outpatient clinics, and insurance companies building out their care management teams.
Are there remote entry level clinical care coordinator jobs?
Yes, though most openings at this level are on-site or hybrid given the patient-interaction component. About 21% of entry level clinical care coordinator openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, typically at insurance carriers, utilization review firms, and telehealth-focused employers where coordination happens by phone or through a care platform rather than in person.
Are these new grad clinical care coordinator jobs?
Yes, the listings on this page include new grad, recent graduate, and junior clinical care coordinator roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes 0 to 2 years of experience, counts internships or clinical rotations toward that requirement, or accepts a strong portfolio of patient-facing work in place of full-time employment history.
Which industries hire the most entry level clinical care coordinators?
Entry Level clinical care coordinator roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, Consulting & Professional Services, and Education, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Those sectors drive entry level hiring because they run large patient populations that require coordinated care plans, creating consistent demand for coordinators who can be trained on employer-specific protocols from the ground up.
