Lola’s Counseling Center is a growing outpatient mental health group practice committed to providing high quality, compassionate, and accessible mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Licensed Certified Social Worker Clinical (LCSW-C) to join our team as a Child & Adolescent Program Lead and Clinical Supervisor.

This position is ideal for a clinician who enjoys working directly with clients while also mentoring other therapists, providing clinical supervision, and taking on a meaningful leadership role within a growing practice.

Position Overview

The Child & Adolescent Program Lead will be responsible for implementing and overseeing our structured Child & Adolescent Clinical Program while maintaining an individual clinical caseload averaging 20 completed sessions per week.

Lola’s Counseling Center will develop and provide the program framework, curriculum, training materials, and clinical resources. The Program Lead will focus on implementing the program, supporting participating clinicians, monitoring progress, and ensuring consistent delivery of quality clinical services. This position offers an opportunity to combine direct clinical care with leadership, mentorship, and program implementation without the responsibility of creating a program from scratch.

Key Responsibilities

Child & Adolescent Program Leadership

• Implement the practice’s established Child & Adolescent Clinical Program.
• Facilitate structured training, clinical consultations, and program meetings.
• Support clinicians in developing specialized skills in treating children, adolescents, and families.
• Assist clinicians in applying evidence based therapeutic interventions.
• Monitor clinician participation, skill development, and program progress.
• Provide ongoing feedback and recommendations to practice leadership.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Director to ensure consistent program implementation and clinical quality.
• Support the continued growth of child and adolescent services within the practice.

Clinical Supervision and Mentorship

• Provide clinical supervision to eligible prelicensed social workers in accordance with Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners requirements.
• Offer clinical guidance regarding assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.
• Provide case consultation and support for complex clinical presentations.
• Assist clinicians in developing clinical confidence, competency, and professional skills.
• Promote ethical clinical practice and adherence to documentation standards.
• Collaborate with practice leadership regarding clinician development and clinical concerns.

Direct Clinical Services

• Maintain an average caseload of 20 completed client sessions per week.
• Provide individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and families.
• Conduct clinical assessments, establish diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence based treatment approaches appropriate to client needs.
• Collaborate with caregivers, schools, and other providers when clinically appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Qualifications - Required

• Active Maryland LCSW-C license in good standing.
• Active status as a board-approved supervisor by the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners
• Experience providing psychotherapy to children and adolescents.
• Strong understanding of child development, family systems, and common childhood mental health concerns.
• Knowledge of evidence based treatment approaches.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clinicians and practice leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience providing clinical supervision or mentoring clinicians.
• Experience implementing clinical training programs or structured treatment models.
• Advanced training in CBT, DBT, play therapy, family therapy, or other child and adolescent treatment approaches.
• Experience working in an outpatient group practice.
• Interest in clinical leadership and professional development.

Compensation

We offer a compensation structure that recognizes both direct clinical services and additional leadership responsibilities.

• Clinical Pay: $60 per completed billable clinical hour.
• Program Leadership Stipend: Additional $1,200 per month.
• Clinical Caseload: Average of 20 completed clinical sessions per week.
• Estimated Annual Compensation: $76,800 based on the expected clinical caseload and monthly stipend.
• Quarterly Productivity Bonus: Eligibility in accordance with the practice’s established bonus structure.

Actual clinical compensation depends on completed billable sessions.
