Due to continued growth private medical practice seeking an additional full time Medical Assistants (4 days, per week) for main office in Plymouth and off site locations.
The Medical Assistant will work as a member of the clinical team and support providers by delivering exceptional customer service and patient care.
Responsibilities of a Clinical Medical Assistant will include:
* Setting up and Maintaining Exam Rooms
* Preparing patients for Examinations
* Reviewing Medical Histories; taking vital signs including blood pressure,
height and weight
* Explaining Medical Procedure to Patients
* Assisting Physician During Examinations
* Calling in Prescription to Pharmacies
* Collecting Laboratory Specimens
* Sterilization of Medical Instruments
* And other tasks, as required
The schedule varies so flexibility is a must! Travel Stipend provided.
Hourly rate is negotiable depending upon experience.
