OVERVIEW: The Assistant Director of Communications & Marketing at Boca West Country Club assists the Director with the overall operations of the Communications & Marketing department. This leadership role is responsible for enhancing the club’s brand image, engaging members and coordinating all communication channels to promote club programs, events and initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Planning & Leadership
- Develop and execute strategic communications and marketing plans aligned with the Club’s goals, brand and member experience.
- Lead messaging and positioning that promotes the Club’s brand, lifestyle, values, programs and offerings.
- Oversee the Communications & Marketing team, external agencies, vendors and creative partners.
Content Development & Brand Management
- Oversee the creation and production of magazines, newsletters, press releases, member communications, promotional materials and digital content.

- Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, visual identity and brand standards across all channels.

Member & Internal Communications
- Develop communications and campaigns that inform, engage and connect members with the Club’s programs, services, events and lifestyle.

Campaigns & Event Promotion
- Lead integrated marketing and communications campaigns for seasonal programming, tournaments, special events and Club initiatives.
- Coordinate creative content, digital communications, social media, advertising, media outreach and promotional activities.
- Establish campaign timelines and messaging strategies and collaborate with departments to ensure successful execution.
- Measure campaign performance and use insights to optimize future initiatives.
Digital Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor website, mobile app and social media performance and engagement.
- Analyze data and member engagement trends to improve communications and outreach.
- Prepare performance reports and recommendations for leadership.
- Stay current with emerging communications, marketing, digital and social media trends.
