INTRODUCTION
Adobe is seeking a Group Manager, Growth Marketing (Product-Led Growth & Experimentation) to lead and scale a high-impact team responsible for in-product experimentation across Acrobat. This role sits within the Retention and Value Discovery Product Marketing team and is at the center of driving material ARR & engagement impact through rigorous experimentation, targeted messaging, and deep partnership with Product and Data Science.
The primary focus is improving trialist retention and sustained user engagement by delivering the right message to the right user at the right moment, accelerating value discovery through programmable in-product surfaces (e.g., modals, notifications, panels, onboarding flows) across desktop, web, and mobile.
You will own the strategy, process, and execution model for how we test, learn, and scale winning messages and experiences — defining targeting approaches, journey-based sequencing, and experimentation frameworks that drive measurable behavior change. Beyond running tests, this role is responsible for expanding the surface area and velocity of experimentation, enabling the team to operate with greater reach and impact.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who combines experimentation expertise, analytical depth, and organizational leadership to build a best-in-class growth engine that directly influences Acrobat’s revenue trajectory.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Experimentation Strategy & Scale:
- Define and own the experimentation vision, strategy, and roadmap across Acrobat’s in-product messaging and programmable surfaces
- Build and scale a high-velocity experimentation engine that delivers measurable ARR impact
- Establish guidelines for message and journey hypothesis development, test composition, measurement, and statistical rigor
- Drive prioritization frameworks that focus the team on the highest-impact growth opportunities — balancing targeting precision, journey sequencing, and surface reach
In-Product Messaging & Surface Expansion:
- Lead efforts to expand and operationalize in-product messaging surfaces (e.g., modals, notifications, panels, onboarding flows) for experimentation
- Partner with Product and Engineering to increase the accessibility, flexibility, and scalability of messaging and experimentation surfaces
- Identify gaps in current capabilities and drive platform investments that unlock faster message testing and iteration
Team Leadership & Operating Model:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of growth marketing and experimentation managers
- Build a culture of accountability, speed, and data-driven decision making
- Define team processes, workflows, and operating cadence to improve efficiency and impact
- Elevate team capabilities in experimentation, analytics, and growth marketing strategy
Data, Segmentation & Modeling:
- Partner closely with Data Science to develop advanced segmentation, targeting, and predictive models that inform message relevance and journey timing
- Ensure experiments are grounded in strong analytical frameworks and clear success metrics
- Leverage user behavior, lifecycle signals, and propensity modeling to drive more effective message targeting and experimentation
- Translate insights into scalable growth opportunities and strategic recommendations
Business Impact & Cross-Functional Influence:
- Own and deliver against trialist retention, sustained engagement, and ARR impact through experimentation
- Drive improvements in how and when value is communicated to users, that increase activation depth and long-term product usage
- Influence product roadmap and investment decisions through proven test outcomes
- Collaborate deeply with Product, Engineering, PMM, and Analytics to align on retention and engagement priorities
- Communicate results, insights, and strategic direction to senior leadership
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience in growth marketing, experimentation, or related roles in SaaS/technology. 5+ years of experience in managing people.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale experimentation programs focused on message testing and user journey optimization that drive measurable revenue impact
- Deep expertise in experimentation methodologies, statistical analysis, and A/B testing frameworks
- Strong experience with segmentation, targeting, and lifecycle-based modeling (e.g., propensity models, LTV, churn prediction)
- Demonstrated ability to scale experimentation platforms and increase testing velocity through systems and process
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Strong business sense with the ability to connect experimentation outcomes to ARR and company-level goals
- Excellent communication and cross-functional partner management skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with in-product messaging approaches and journey-based experimentation in freemium or subscription businesses
- Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat or document productivity tools
- Experience partnering deeply with Product and Engineering to build messaging and growth platforms

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Growth Marketing Manager Jobs at Adobe Jobs
Align your portfolio to Adobe's funnel stages
Adobe's Growth Marketing teams are organized around product-led growth loops, so lead with campaign work tied to activation, retention, or expansion, not just awareness. Hiring managers look for evidence of experimentation and measurable funnel impact.
Time your OPT application around Adobe's hiring cycles
Adobe typically runs major hiring pushes in Q1 and Q3. If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your remaining authorization window covers the onboarding period, since Adobe's offer-to-start timelines for marketing roles can run six to ten weeks.
Prepare for Adobe's specialty occupation documentation
USCIS requires H-1B petitions to demonstrate a direct relationship between your degree field and the Growth Marketing Manager role. Pull together transcripts and any marketing analytics or business coursework that supports the specialty occupation argument your employer's attorney will need to make.
Target Adobe's product divisions strategically
Adobe's growth marketing headcount is concentrated in Digital Experience and Creative Cloud divisions. Roles tied to these product lines have historically moved faster through approval and onboarding than roles in newer verticals, so filtering your search by division can improve your odds.
Use Migrate Mate to filter verified Adobe openings
Not all job boards surface Adobe roles that explicitly support visa sponsorship. Use Migrate Mate to filter Growth Marketing Manager openings at Adobe by visa category, so you only spend time on positions where your authorization type is already confirmed.

Find Growth Marketing Manager at Adobe JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Adobe sponsor H-1B visas for Growth Marketing Managers?
Yes, Adobe sponsors H-1B visas for Growth Marketing Manager roles. The process requires Adobe's legal team to file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL and then submit an I-129 petition to USCIS on your behalf. Because H-1B cap-subject petitions are subject to the annual lottery, timing your offer and filing relative to the April 1 cap season is critical if you're not already in H-1B status.
How do I apply for Growth Marketing Manager jobs at Adobe?
Apply directly through Adobe's careers portal and flag your visa sponsorship needs early in the recruiter screening call. Adobe's talent acquisition team screens for sponsorship eligibility at the requisition level, so it helps to confirm the role supports your visa category before investing time in the full interview loop. You can also browse verified Adobe openings filtered by visa type on Migrate Mate.
Which visa types does Adobe commonly use for Growth Marketing Manager roles?
Adobe uses H-1B for most international marketing hires, along with E-3 for Australian nationals, TN for Canadian and Mexican applicants under USMCA, and F-1 OPT or CPT for recent graduates. For longer-term employees, Adobe also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship, which typically begins after you've established a track record in the role.
What qualifications does Adobe expect for a Growth Marketing Manager?
Adobe typically looks for a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, economics, or a related quantitative field, along with hands-on experience running growth experiments, managing paid acquisition channels, or owning lifecycle programs. Familiarity with Adobe's own analytics and experience platforms is a genuine differentiator, as is demonstrable experience with A/B testing frameworks and CRM-driven campaign execution.
How long does the sponsorship process take for a Growth Marketing Manager at Adobe?
Timeline depends on visa type. E-3 and TN sponsorship can move quickly, often within a few weeks of an offer, since neither requires a lottery or USCIS petition approval before you start. H-1B transfers for candidates already in status can also close in four to eight weeks with premium processing. New H-1B cap-subject cases require waiting for the next April filing window, which can mean a gap of several months between offer and start date.
