INTRODUCTION
The opportunity
Adobe Firefly is Adobe’s AI-first creative studio, and this role sits at the center of it. As a Principal Product Marketing Manager for Firefly for creative professionals, you'll define what Firefly means for professional designers, video editors, photographers, and other professional creatives: how it fits into the tools they already use, what value it unlocks, and how we tell that story in ways that drive real adoption. You'll build and lead a small team of PMMs and own strategy and execution in equal measure, working across product, marketing, and go-to-market teams to connect Firefly's capabilities to the moments that matter most for creative pros.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own positioning, messaging, and value propositions for Firefly with creative professional segments — translating complex AI capabilities into clear, compelling customer value
- Partner with inbound PMM teams to translate customer insights and use cases into outbound Firefly marketing strategy for Creative Cloud desktop app users, including integration with existing workflows and AI-native evolution of Creative Cloud desktop apps
- Own marketing strategy for Firefly for creative professionals — from awareness and discovery through usage and retention — in close partnership with channel owners and cross-functional marketing teams
- Own and orchestrate unified launch plans; write creative briefs and maintain a critical eye on channel execution across social, Adobe.com, email, and paid
- Develop and own post-launch optimization strategies informed by usage data — identifying where customers are in their Firefly journey and what interventions accelerate adoption
- Contribute to the PMM perspective on Firefly's business performance, connecting marketing strategy to adoption and engagement outcomes
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure messaging is coherent end to end, across broad product surface area and strategic partnerships
- Enable GTM and marketing teams to understand, articulate, and amplify Firefly's value
- Influence the roadmap using customer insight and market analysis — champion the customer's needs within the product process

Align your portfolio to Adobe's product marketing
Adobe hires Marketing Managers who can bridge creative tools and enterprise buyers. Before applying, reframe your experience around B2B or SaaS product launches, campaign attribution, or pipeline-driven programs that mirror Adobe's go-to-market structure.
Target roles with LCA filings already on record
Search the DOL's OFLC disclosure data for Adobe's Labor Condition Application filings under Marketing Manager titles. Roles with recent LCA history signal active sponsorship intent, which narrows your target list before you submit a single application.
Clarify sponsorship eligibility before your first interview
Adobe's recruiting process moves quickly. Ask your recruiter in the first call whether the specific role is open to H-1B or E-3 candidates. Waiting until the offer stage creates delays that can affect your status if you're on OPT with a tight expiration window.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Adobe's open roles by visa type
Not every Adobe Marketing Manager posting is open to sponsored candidates. Use Migrate Mate to filter Adobe's current openings by the visa categories you're eligible for, so you're only spending time on roles where sponsorship is realistic.
Prepare for Adobe's structured interview format early
Adobe's Marketing Manager interviews typically include a presentation or case study component. Building that deliverable takes time. Prepare it while your application is in review so sponsorship timelines don't force you to rush what's often the deciding round.
Understand how H-1B cap timing affects your start date
If you're not currently in H-1B status, an October 1 start date constraint applies. Build that into your offer negotiation with Adobe's recruiting team. USCIS premium processing can accelerate approval, but the cap registration window in March is a hard upstream dependency.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Adobe sponsor H-1B visas for Marketing Managers?
Yes, Adobe sponsors H-1B visas for Marketing Manager roles. Adobe participates in the annual H-1B cap lottery and files petitions for qualifying candidates. If you're already in H-1B status with another employer, a transfer to Adobe is possible outside the lottery. New cap-subject candidates need to register in March for an October 1 start.
How do I apply for Marketing Manager jobs at Adobe?
Applications go through Adobe's careers portal. Before applying, filter roles that align with your visa category and marketing specialization. Adobe's Marketing Manager postings span product marketing, demand generation, and brand. Use Migrate Mate to browse Adobe's current openings filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility so you're applying to roles where international candidates are genuinely considered.
Which visa types does Adobe commonly use for Marketing Manager roles?
Adobe sponsors H-1B and E-3 visas most frequently for Marketing Manager positions. Australian citizens are eligible for the E-3, which bypasses the H-1B lottery entirely and allows for more flexible timing. Adobe also supports F-1 OPT and CPT for students in qualifying programs, and TN visa status for Canadian and Mexican nationals in eligible occupational categories.
What qualifications does Adobe expect for Marketing Manager candidates?
Adobe's Marketing Manager roles typically require a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field, along with experience in B2B or SaaS marketing environments. Roles often require familiarity with marketing technology, campaign analytics, and cross-functional collaboration. Product marketing positions may require experience working with technical or design-focused go-to-market cycles, which aligns with Adobe's core product lines.
How do I plan my timeline around Adobe's visa sponsorship process?
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your expiration date before applying and check whether your program qualifies for the 24-month STEM OPT extension, which gives you more runway. For H-1B cap-subject candidates, USCIS registration opens in March with an October 1 start date. Build these milestones into your job search timeline so an offer from Adobe doesn't expire before your petition is approved.
