INTRODUCTION
Adobe is reimagining the future of creativity — where generative AI, intelligent agents, and human imagination work hand in hand. As the Director, Product Management - Agentic Product, you will lead Adobe’s 3rd party strategy for agent-driven creative workflows. You’ll shape how AI collaborates with creators, automates routine work, and amplifies human creativity — all while staying true to Adobe’s mission of empowering creativity for all.
Adobe's creative capabilities are increasingly in demand across the AI ecosystem. Our agentic product team packages and publishes our unique creativity and productivity capabilities to reach users across the rapidly expanding landscape of third-party AI surfaces: AI Chat-portals, desktop and mobile operating systems, and vertical applications in many industries. The mission is to package Adobe's agentic harness and underlying tools, skills, and MCPs into compelling, well-crafted experiences that drive adoption, demonstrate Adobe's unique value, and strengthen our position as the creative capability layer of the agentic internet.
The work requires deep fluency in the emerging standards of agentic packaging — MCP, skills manifests, hero prompts, plugin architecture — as well as a sharp commercial instinct for how to position and sequence Adobe's capabilities across multiple partner surfaces. This team shapes what "Adobe for creativity" looks like when delivered through an agentic harness. This team will also shape what an “Agent for hire” in a variety of verticals (e.g., Retail) would look like. Partnerships with major LLM providers, ship timelines, monetization decisions, tied to major platform launches, and a running release train model make this a high-visibility, high-velocity role.
This is an outstanding chance to develop Adobe's role in the upcoming era of creative software distribution! The person in this role will work across product, engineering, partnerships, corporate strategy, and GTM to build a scalable packaging strategy — one that compounds Adobe's reach while ensuring every 3P experience reflects the quality and creative intelligence that Adobe is known for.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Lead the roadmap execution across major partners – OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft. For identified priority surfaces and ecosystem plays, co-develop the product experience with partner – user personas, key workflows, UI/UX, and freemium experiences in an iterative manner.
-
Rapid and iterative execution of roadmap with ship timelines tied to major platform launches, and a running release train model, with weekly executive level reporting.
-
Find opportunities for vertical integration and sustainable roadmap to deliver on “agents for hire”.
-
Develop POV and AB test monetization decisions that push on new and groundbreaking business models.
-
Drive with a “PLG approach” with constant experimentation and iterative launches towards a clearly articulated longer-term vision - defining new to industry funnels and growth loops, and structuring team roadmaps to drive both new launches as well as ongoing experiences in 3P.
-
Requires the ability to work across multiple product teams, driving and inspiring teams to come along the 3P journey while also ensuring cohesion with new 1P harness, and journeys into Adobe’s agentic ecosystem.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
-
10+ years of product or innovation leadership experience, ideally within creative software, AI-driven products, or productivity ecosystems.
-
Deep fluency in the emerging standards of agentic packaging — MCP, skills manifests, hero prompts, plugin architecture — as well as a sharp commercial instinct for how to position and sequence Adobe's capabilities across multiple partner surfaces. This team shapes what "Adobe for Creativity" and "Adobe for Productivity" look like when delivered through an agentic harness.

Passion for Adobe’s mission and a belief that AI should empower, not replace, human creativity.

Frame your portfolio around platform thinking
Adobe hires Product Directors who can manage complex, multi-surface product ecosystems like Creative Cloud or Document Cloud. Build your portfolio to show cross-functional ownership and platform-level decision making, not just feature shipping.
Target roles tied to core product lines
Adobe's highest-volume sponsorship activity clusters around its flagship product suites. Focus your applications on Product Director openings within established lines rather than early-stage internal initiatives, where headcount and sponsorship approvals move faster.
Confirm your visa type before your offer conversation
Adobe sponsors H-1B, E-3, and TN visas for Product Directors depending on your nationality. Knowing which category applies to you lets you have an informed conversation with the recruiting team before written offer terms are set.
Account for H-1B cap timing in your job search
If you need H-1B sponsorship, USCIS only accepts new cap-subject registrations in March for an October 1 start. Target Adobe's Product Director openings at least six months before your current work authorization expires to avoid a gap.
Surface your USCIS petition history to Adobe's recruiting team
If you have prior approved I-140s or H-1B transfers from other employers, flag this early. Prior approvals and priority dates can accelerate Green Card filing under EB-2 or EB-3, which matters to Adobe when evaluating long-term talent retention.
Use Migrate Mate to filter verified sponsoring roles
Not every Product Director posting at Adobe will explicitly state visa sponsorship eligibility. Use Migrate Mate to filter Adobe's open roles by visa type so you only invest time in positions where your specific sponsorship need is already confirmed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Adobe sponsor H-1B visas for Product Directors?
Yes, Adobe sponsors H-1B visas for Product Director roles. Adobe is a well-established H-1B sponsor with a consistent record across its product and technology functions. If you're subject to the H-1B cap, your employer files a registration in March and employment typically begins October 1. Adobe also participates in H-1B transfers, so switching from another employer mid-year is possible without waiting for the next lottery cycle.
How do I apply for Product Director jobs at Adobe?
Apply directly through Adobe's careers site, or browse verified Product Director openings filtered by visa type on Migrate Mate. Adobe's Product Director hiring process typically includes an initial recruiter screen, a hiring manager conversation focused on product strategy and leadership philosophy, and a loop with cross-functional stakeholders. Preparing a concise product narrative that connects your past decisions to measurable outcomes is the most common differentiator at the loop stage.
Which visa types does Adobe commonly use for Product Directors?
Adobe sponsors H-1B, E-3 visa, TN visa, and F-1 OPT or CPT for Product Director roles depending on your nationality and current status. Australian citizens are typically routed through the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and renews in two-year increments. Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying occupations may use TN visa status. For permanent residence, Adobe files under EB-2 or EB-3 through the PERM labor certification process with the DOL.
What qualifications does Adobe expect for Product Director roles?
Adobe's Product Director postings consistently require deep experience owning product strategy at scale, strong cross-functional leadership across engineering, design, and go-to-market teams, and demonstrated ability to operate within complex, multi-product organizations. A background in SaaS or creative technology platforms is a meaningful advantage. For visa purposes, the role must qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards, which a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field typically satisfies.
How do I think about timing if my OPT is expiring while I'm interviewing at Adobe?
If your F-1 OPT expires before a start date is possible, a timely H-1B cap-gap provision may bridge the gap if your OPT end date falls before October 1. USCIS automatically extends work authorization for F-1 students with a pending cap-subject H-1B petition through September 30. Communicate your OPT expiration date to Adobe's HR team early so they can align the offer and petition filing timeline accordingly.
