Align your portfolio with Adobe Research priorities
Adobe's ML hiring is heavily weighted toward generative AI, document intelligence, and content understanding. Publishing work or side projects in these areas signals direct fit before you apply, which matters when a team is deciding whether to open a sponsorship-requiring role.
Target teams with active LCA filings
Search the DOL's OFLC disclosure data for Adobe LCA filings filtered to ML and AI job titles. Teams that filed recently are actively hiring sponsored roles, not just posting to build a pipeline, so your outreach lands at a better moment.
Flag your visa status early in recruiter screens
Adobe's talent acquisition team handles sponsorship through a centralized immigration function, so disclosing your status in the initial screen gets routed correctly. Waiting until an offer stage creates delays that can compress your start date timeline.
Prepare a specialty occupation case for your specific role
USCIS scrutinizes H-1B petitions for ML roles when the job description is broad. Work with Adobe's immigration counsel to ensure your offer letter specifies the theoretical and practical application of computer science or a related field, not just generic software duties.
Browse verified Adobe ML openings on Migrate Mate
Senior ML Engineer roles at Adobe that actively support sponsorship are tracked on Migrate Mate, letting you filter by visa type before applying. This saves time you'd otherwise spend on applications where sponsorship isn't available for your specific situation.

Find Senior ML Engineer at Adobe JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Adobe sponsor H-1B visas for Senior ML Engineers?
Yes, Adobe sponsors H-1B visas for Senior ML Engineer roles. Adobe participates in the annual H-1B cap lottery and also files H-1B transfers for engineers already holding H-1B status with another employer, which bypasses the lottery entirely. If you're already on H-1B, that transfer pathway is often faster than waiting for cap season.
Which visa types does Adobe commonly use for Senior ML Engineer hires?
Adobe sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, and Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. For Senior ML Engineers, H-1B is the most common long-term path for non-Australian, non-Canadian nationals. Australian citizens can access the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and typically processes faster through consular channels.
What qualifications does Adobe expect for Senior ML Engineer roles?
Adobe's Senior ML Engineer roles typically require a graduate degree in computer science, machine learning, or a closely related field, along with hands-on experience building and deploying production ML systems at scale. Specialization in generative AI, computer vision, or NLP aligns well with Adobe's product portfolio. Strong publication records or open-source contributions in these areas are common among competitive candidates.
How do I apply for Senior ML Engineer jobs at Adobe?
You can apply through Adobe's careers site directly or find sponsorship-confirmed openings on Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa type so you can confirm eligibility before applying. When applying, tailor your resume to the specific ML domain the team works in, as Adobe's hiring panels are technically deep and evaluate research and system design experience separately.
How do I plan my timeline if I need Adobe to sponsor my visa?
If you need an H-1B cap filing, Adobe would need to submit your registration in March, with employment starting October 1 at the earliest. F-1 OPT holders can start sooner and bridge to H-1B status. For E-3 or TN applicants, consular processing can move faster, often resolving within four to eight weeks of an approved Labor Condition Application from DOL.
