INTRODUCTION
Adobe Firefly is Adobe’s AI-first creative studio, and this role sits at the center of it. As Director of Product Marketing for Firefly for creative professionals, you'll define what Firefly means for professional designers, video editors, photographers, and other professional creatives: how it fits into the tools they already use, what value it unlocks, and how we tell that story in ways that drive real adoption. You'll build and lead a small team of PMMs and own strategy and execution in equal measure, working across product, marketing, and go-to-market teams to connect Firefly's capabilities to the moments that matter most for creative pros.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own positioning, messaging, and value propositions for Firefly with creative professional segments — translating complex AI capabilities into clear, compelling customer value
- Partner with inbound PMM teams to translate customer insights and use cases into outbound Firefly marketing strategy for Creative Cloud desktop app users, including integration with existing workflows and AI-native evolution of Creative Cloud desktop apps
- Own marketing strategy for Firefly for creative professionals — from awareness and discovery through usage and retention — in close partnership with channel owners and cross-functional marketing teams
- Own and orchestrate unified launch plans; write creative briefs and maintain a critical eye on channel execution across social, Adobe.com, email, and paid
- Develop and own post-launch optimization strategies informed by usage data — identifying where customers are in their Firefly journey and what interventions accelerate adoption
- Contribute to the PMM perspective on Firefly's business performance, connecting marketing strategy to adoption and engagement outcomes
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure messaging is coherent end to end, across broad product surface area and strategic partnerships
- Enable GTM and marketing teams to understand, articulate, and amplify Firefly's value
- Influence the roadmap using customer insight and market analysis — champion the customer's needs within the product process
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience in product marketing, marketing, or a related field driving strategy and execution for innovative products
- Passion for new technologies, creative products, and the creative industry, with deep knowledge of the GenAI landscape
- End-to-end PMM skills: positioning, messaging, launch, and post-launch optimization
- Proven ability to develop compelling, evergreen product positioning that translates technical capability into customer value and drives engagement and adoption
- Experience launching AI or technically complex products, with an ability to differentiate in a fast-evolving competitive space
- Strong product instincts — you engage meaningfully with roadmaps and advocate for the customer throughout the product lifecycle
- Ability to toggle between high-level strategy and hands-on execution in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and rapidly evolving environments, with a bias for action and problem solving
- Data-driven and insight-led, with genuine customer curiosity — you dig into research and talk directly with users
- Strong POV — you bring a clear perspective, push back when it matters, and operate effectively within a large and complex organization
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with executive presence and the ability to craft narratives that resonate across audiences
- Ability to mentor and help develop more junior team members

Frame your portfolio around product-led storytelling
Adobe's Product Marketing roles reward candidates who can connect product features to buyer outcomes. Before applying, curate case studies that show launch strategy, messaging frameworks, or competitive positioning work, not just campaign execution.
Target roles aligned with Adobe's core clouds
Adobe organizes Product Marketing around its Creative, Document, and Experience Clouds. Applying to roles tied to a cloud where your industry background is strongest signals a clear fit and reduces the ambiguity that can slow sponsorship decisions.
Understand which visa fits your citizenship and timeline
Adobe sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT depending on your nationality and status. If you're Australian, the E-3 sidesteps the H-1B lottery entirely. If you're on OPT, confirm your STEM extension eligibility before your authorization window closes.
Get your LCA timing right before your start date
Adobe's HR team files a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before your H-1B or E-3 petition goes to USCIS. Understand that LCA certification takes around seven business days and must complete before USCIS can adjudicate your petition.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Product Marketing roles at Adobe
Searching broadly across job boards makes it hard to filter for confirmed visa sponsors. Migrate Mate's job board surfaces Product Marketing openings at companies like Adobe that have active sponsorship histories, so you can focus applications where authorization is realistic.
Raise sponsorship early in recruiter conversations
Adobe recruiters handle visa logistics regularly, but don't wait until the offer stage to surface your requirements. Confirming sponsorship availability in the first recruiter screen avoids investing weeks in a process that stalls on authorization.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Adobe sponsor H-1B visas for Product Marketings?
Yes, Adobe sponsors H-1B visas for Product Marketing roles. Adobe participates in the H-1B cap lottery each April for candidates who need initial cap-subject sponsorship. If you're already in H-1B status with another employer, Adobe can file an H-1B transfer, which lets you start work as soon as USCIS receives the petition.
How do I apply for Product Marketing jobs at Adobe?
You can browse and apply for Product Marketing positions directly through Adobe's careers site. To specifically filter for roles where visa sponsorship is available and confirmed, Migrate Mate surfaces Adobe's open positions alongside sponsorship context so you can prioritize your applications. Tailor your application to the specific Adobe Cloud the role supports, and address your go-to-market and positioning experience directly in your materials.
Which visa types does Adobe commonly use for Product Marketing roles?
Adobe sponsors H-1B, E-3 visa, TN visa, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1 visa, and Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. For Australian citizens, the E-3 visa is the most efficient route because it has no lottery and allows two-year renewable periods. Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying occupations may be eligible for TN visa status, which can be processed at the border.
What qualifications does Adobe expect for Product Marketing roles?
Adobe's Product Marketing positions typically require a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field, combined with direct experience in B2B or SaaS product marketing. Roles within the Experience Cloud often expect familiarity with digital marketing platforms or customer data tools. Senior roles prioritize demonstrated ownership of product launches, messaging strategy, and cross-functional go-to-market execution.
How do I plan my timeline if I need visa sponsorship at Adobe?
If you need a new H-1B, Adobe must file during the April cap season for an October 1 start date, so recruiting timelines often begin six to nine months in advance. E-3 and TN petitions move faster and aren't cap-bound. F-1 OPT holders should confirm their remaining work authorization window before accepting an offer, since USCIS processing for a change of status can take several months.
