Align your PM credentials to hardware or enterprise software
Broadcom's Program Manager roles sit inside semiconductor and enterprise software business units. Framing your resume around cross-functional delivery, chipset programs, or platform integrations makes your application immediately legible to their hiring teams.
Target open requisitions by Broadcom business division
Broadcom posts Program Manager roles across distinct product lines, from networking silicon to VMware infrastructure. Filtering by division lets you identify which groups are actively hiring and tailor your outreach to the right hiring manager.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Broadcom PM roles by visa type
Broadcom sponsors multiple visa categories for Program Managers. Use Migrate Mate to surface which open roles align with your current status, whether that's F-1 OPT, TN, or H-1B, before you invest time in an application.
Prepare for PERM documentation early in the hiring process
Broadcom pursues Green Card sponsorship through PERM for eligible Program Managers. DOL requires documented proof of your qualifications at the time of filing, so gather diplomas, transcripts, and prior employment records before an offer is extended.
Clarify H-1B transfer terms before accepting an offer
If you're transferring an existing H-1B to Broadcom, USCIS portability rules let you start once a petition is filed, not approved. Confirm with Broadcom's immigration counsel that your transfer timeline aligns with your current employer's end date.

Find Program Manager at Broadcom JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Broadcom sponsor H-1B visas for Program Managers?
Yes, Broadcom sponsors H-1B visas for Program Manager roles. The company works with immigration counsel to file H-1B petitions for qualifying candidates, covering both new cap-subject filings and transfers from existing H-1B holders. Program Manager positions at Broadcom typically qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS standards, given the technical and cross-functional complexity of the role.
How do I apply for Program Manager jobs at Broadcom?
Applications go through Broadcom's careers portal, where roles are listed by business division. Tailoring your materials to the specific product area, whether semiconductor, networking, or enterprise software, improves your chances of moving through screening. You can also browse open Program Manager positions at Broadcom that match your visa type on Migrate Mate before applying directly.
Which visa types does Broadcom commonly sponsor for Program Managers?
Broadcom sponsors H-1B visas, F-1 OPT and CPT for students and recent graduates, TN visas for eligible Canadian and Mexican nationals, and EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways for longer-term sponsorship. The right visa type depends on your nationality, current immigration status, and where you are in your career, so confirming which category applies to your situation before interviewing saves time.
What qualifications does Broadcom expect for Program Manager roles?
Broadcom's Program Manager roles typically require a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field, along with demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional programs. Familiarity with hardware development cycles, semiconductor product lines, or enterprise software delivery is a strong differentiator. Candidates with PMP certification or experience using Agile or Waterfall frameworks in a technology environment are well-positioned.
How do I plan my timeline around Broadcom's visa sponsorship process?
For H-1B sponsorship, USCIS's annual cap filing window opens in March for an October 1 start date, so offers for cap-subject candidates need to close well before then. OPT-based candidates should confirm their authorized employment period covers Broadcom's onboarding date. For Green Card pathways through PERM, DOL processing alone can run six months or longer, so early documentation is essential.
