Target roles aligned with Green Card pathways
BuzzClan's sponsorship activity centers on permanent residence pathways like EB-2 and EB-3. Focus your applications on technical and professional roles where long-term employment relationships are expected, as these are most likely to qualify for Green Card sponsorship.
Understand OPT and CPT eligibility before applying
BuzzClan sponsors F-1 OPT and CPT, making it accessible to international students still on their student visa. Confirm your OPT start date and authorization period align with BuzzClan's hiring timeline before submitting an application to avoid status gaps.
Know that TN status is an option if you qualify
Canadian and Mexican professionals in eligible Technology and Software roles may qualify for TN sponsorship at BuzzClan. TN is faster to process than most visa categories, so if you hold citizenship in either country, it's worth highlighting in your application.
Position yourself for permanent roles, not contract work
Because BuzzClan's sponsorship history skews toward Green Card filings, candidates who demonstrate long-term career intent and fit within the company's technology practice areas are more likely to receive sponsorship support than those seeking short-term project engagements.
Research open roles by visa type before reaching out
Not every open role at BuzzClan will come with sponsorship. Browse verified listings on Migrate Mate, which surfaces confirmed sponsors and lets you filter by visa type, so you can identify BuzzClan openings that match your specific immigration status.
Align your degree field with the specialty occupation requirement
For EB-2 and EB-3 filings in Technology and Software, USCIS requires a direct connection between your degree and the job duties. Review the role description carefully and ensure your educational background maps clearly to the position before applying.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does BuzzClan sponsor H-1B visas?
BuzzClan does not have a recent track record of H-1B visa sponsorship. The company's visa sponsorship activity is concentrated on Green Card pathways, specifically EB-2 and EB-3, as well as F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. If H-1B visa sponsorship is a requirement for your situation, it's worth raising this directly with BuzzClan's recruiting team during the interview process.
Which visa types does BuzzClan sponsor?
BuzzClan sponsors a focused set of visa categories: EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for professionals in qualifying Technology and Software roles, F-1 OPT and CPT for international students, and TN visas for eligible Canadian and Mexican nationals. This makes BuzzClan particularly relevant for candidates pursuing permanent residence or those currently on a student visa.
What types of roles at BuzzClan are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
BuzzClan operates in the Technology and Software space, so sponsorship is most common for technical and professional roles that require specialized knowledge tied to a specific degree field. Positions in software development, IT consulting, data engineering, and related disciplines are the strongest candidates for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship support, given the PERM labor certification requirements those pathways involve.
How do I find open jobs at BuzzClan that offer visa sponsorship?
The most reliable way is to use Migrate Mate, which verifies sponsorship history and lets you filter job listings by visa type and employer. This saves you from applying to roles that won't support your immigration status. You can search for BuzzClan directly on Migrate Mate to see current openings alongside the company's confirmed sponsorship categories.
How do I approach the application process at BuzzClan as a visa-sponsored candidate?
Start by identifying roles that match both your technical background and your visa category. For Green Card pathways like EB-2 and EB-3, BuzzClan will need to initiate a PERM labor certification, which is a multi-month process. Raise your sponsorship needs early in recruiting conversations so both sides can align on timeline expectations before an offer is made.
