Target Offices With Advisory and Audit Depth
CohnReznick's sponsorship activity for Finance Associates concentrates in service lines like assurance and advisory. Research which regional offices lead in those practices before applying, since hiring decisions and sponsorship approvals often sit at the office level.
Request LCA Posting Details Before Signing
Before accepting an offer, ask HR whether your work location is covered by the Labor Condition Application the firm files with DOL. Remote or hybrid Finance Associates assigned to a different office than their home base can face LCA compliance issues if posting requirements aren't met.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter CohnReznick Finance Roles
Finance Associate openings at CohnReznick span multiple service lines and cities. Use Migrate Mate to filter active postings by visa type so you only apply to roles where sponsorship aligns with your specific status, whether H-1B, E-3, or TN.
Prepare Your Specialty Occupation Documentation Early
USCIS scrutinizes H-1B petitions for accounting and finance roles because degree requirements in these fields are sometimes contested. Gather transcripts, credential evaluations, and any CPA exam scores before your employer's immigration counsel files the I-129 petition.
Clarify Sponsorship Scope During the Offer Stage
Some firms sponsor for initial status but not for Green Card. Ask CohnReznick's HR directly whether Finance Associates in your service line have received PERM-based green card sponsorship, so you understand the long-term immigration support before you accept.

Find Finance Associate at CohnReznick JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does CohnReznick sponsor H-1B visas for Finance Associates?
Yes, CohnReznick sponsors H-1B visas for Finance Associates. The firm participates in the H-1B cap lottery each spring, so candidates on OPT should confirm their authorization timeline aligns with USCIS filing windows. If you miss the lottery, the firm may explore cap-exempt alternatives or bridge options depending on your situation.
How do I apply for Finance Associate jobs at CohnReznick?
You can apply through CohnReznick's careers portal or find open Finance Associate roles filtered by visa sponsorship type on Migrate Mate. Campus recruiting is a primary pipeline, so if you're in an accounting or finance program, check whether CohnReznick visits your university. For experienced hires, applying directly with a tailored resume showing CPA progress and relevant assurance or advisory experience strengthens your candidacy.
Which visa types does CohnReznick commonly sponsor for Finance Associate roles?
CohnReznick sponsors Finance Associates across several visa categories, including H-1B, E-3, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and J-1. Australian citizens benefit from the E-3 visa, which bypasses the H-1B lottery. Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify for TN status under the USMCA, which can be processed at the border without USCIS petition approval, making it a faster path.
What qualifications does CohnReznick expect for Finance Associate candidates seeking sponsorship?
CohnReznick typically expects a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field, along with demonstrated progress toward CPA licensure. For H-1B sponsorship specifically, USCIS requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation, so your degree field must directly relate to the Finance Associate duties. Relevant internship experience in audit, tax, or advisory strengthens both your application and the specialty occupation argument.
How do I time my application to align with CohnReznick's sponsorship process?
CohnReznick's main Finance Associate intake aligns with fall campus recruiting for spring or summer start dates. H-1B petitions can only be filed starting April 1 for an October 1 start, so an offer in fall means your OPT must cover the gap. If your OPT expires before October 1 and you have a STEM-eligible degree, file your 24-month STEM extension with USCIS promptly after receiving your offer.
