Frame your credentials around student outcomes
Crimson hires Consultants who can demonstrate measurable impact on student admissions results. When preparing your resume, lead with specific examples of advising, coaching, or mentorship outcomes rather than general education experience.
Target open Consultant roles directly
Crimson posts Consultant openings frequently across its global offices. Filter your search by U.S.-based positions and apply through their careers portal, noting which office the role reports to, since sponsorship eligibility can vary by location.
Confirm specialty occupation fit before your interview
H-1B eligibility for Consultant roles hinges on the position qualifying as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards. Ask the recruiter how the role is defined internally and whether it typically requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field like education, psychology, or counseling.
Raise sponsorship intent in the offer stage
Avoid waiting until after a verbal offer to discuss visa sponsorship. Once you reach the offer negotiation stage, ask directly whether Crimson will support H-1B filing and confirm whether they use premium processing, which cuts USCIS adjudication to around 15 business days.
Verify Crimson's E-Verify enrollment before signing
Cap-subject H-1B employers must be registered E-Verify participants. Confirm Crimson's enrollment through the E-Verify employer search tool on the Department of Homeland Security website before accepting an offer that depends on sponsorship.
Use Migrate Mate to surface active openings
Consultant positions at Crimson Education that include visa sponsorship can be hard to identify on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for sponsored Consultant roles in the education sector and track new postings as they go live.

Find Consultant at Crimson Education JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Crimson Education sponsor H-1B visas for Consultants?
Yes, Crimson Education has sponsored H-1B visas for Consultant roles. The H-1B is the primary work visa pathway for international professionals in this function. Sponsorship is not guaranteed for every opening, so confirming the specific role's eligibility directly with the recruiting team during the interview process is the most reliable approach.
How do I apply for Consultant jobs at Crimson Education?
Applications go through Crimson Education's careers portal, where Consultant openings are listed by region and specialty. Tailor your application to highlight student advisory or education consulting experience. You can also browse visa-sponsoring Consultant openings at Crimson Education through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by sponsorship status so you're not applying blind.
Which visa types are commonly used for Consultant roles at Crimson Education?
The H-1B is the most common visa for Consultant positions at Crimson Education, as these roles typically require a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as education, counseling, or a related discipline. Candidates already holding OPT or STEM OPT work authorization can begin employment while an H-1B petition is pending, making that a practical bridge for recent graduates.
What qualifications does Crimson Education expect for Consultant roles?
Crimson typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree or higher, strong communication skills, and demonstrated experience in academic advising, tutoring, or student coaching. Familiarity with the U.S. or U.K. university admissions process is a significant advantage. Roles are client-facing, so the ability to build rapport with students and families carries real weight in the hiring decision.
How do I time my H-1B sponsorship when applying to Crimson Education?
The H-1B cap lottery opens each March for an October 1 start date, so aligning your offer and onboarding timeline with this window matters. If you're on OPT, you may be eligible for a cap-gap extension that bridges your status through September 30. Discuss your current visa status and target start date with Crimson's HR team early so they can plan the USCIS filing accordingly.
