Frame your credentials around student outcomes
Crimson evaluates consultants on measurable client results, not just project methodology. When preparing your resume and portfolio, quantify how your coordination work improved outcomes for students or clients, since admissions-focused metrics resonate strongly with Crimson's hiring team.
Research Crimson's global delivery model first
Crimson operates across multiple time zones with distributed consultant teams. Before applying, understand how their regional hubs are structured so you can position yourself for the office or market where your background in education program management is the strongest fit.
Target roles that align with H-1B specialty occupation criteria
H-1B eligibility requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards. Project Management Consultant positions need a direct connection to a specific degree field, so emphasize education, business, or a related bachelor's degree when applying and in any H-1B petition documentation.
Confirm sponsorship intent before the offer stage
Raise visa sponsorship directly during the final interview round, not after you receive an offer. Asking early lets you gauge whether the specific team or regional office has budget and legal infrastructure in place to support an H-1B filing for your start date.
Align your start date with H-1B cap timelines
H-1B cap-subject petitions are filed in April for an October 1 start date under USCIS rules. If you receive an offer from Crimson outside cap-exempt circumstances, plan your notice period and onboarding timeline around this annual filing window to avoid gaps in work authorization.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open roles by sponsorship history
Finding Project Management Consultant openings at companies with a real H-1B track record saves significant time. Use Migrate Mate to browse verified sponsoring employers in the education sector and target Crimson roles where sponsorship has been confirmed for this job function.

Find Project Management Consultant at Crimson Education JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Crimson Education sponsor H-1B visas for Project Management Consultants?
Yes, Crimson Education has sponsored H-1B visas for Project Management Consultant roles. Sponsorship is not automatic for every opening, so you should confirm directly with the hiring team that the specific position includes visa support. Roles that require a specialized degree and involve structured client project delivery are most likely to meet USCIS specialty occupation requirements.
How do I apply for Project Management Consultant jobs at Crimson Education?
Applications go through Crimson Education's careers portal, where openings are listed by region and function. You can also find Crimson's sponsored Project Management Consultant roles on Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for employers with H-1B sponsorship history. Tailor your application to highlight admissions consulting experience, client management, and any background coordinating multi-stakeholder education projects.
Which visa types are commonly used for Project Management Consultant roles at Crimson Education?
H-1B is the primary visa pathway for Project Management Consultant roles at Crimson Education, as the position typically qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS guidelines. Candidates already on OPT or STEM OPT can often begin work before an H-1B is approved. In some cases, an O-1A visa may apply for candidates with exceptional records in education program leadership or consulting.
What qualifications does Crimson Education expect for Project Management Consultant roles?
Crimson typically looks for a bachelor's degree in education, business, psychology, or a related field, combined with experience managing complex client relationships or student-facing programs. Strong project coordination skills, familiarity with university admissions processes in key markets, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent client cases are consistently emphasized across their consultant job descriptions.
How do I plan my timeline if I need H-1B sponsorship to work at Crimson Education?
If your role is cap-subject, USCIS only accepts H-1B petitions during the April filing window for an October 1 start date. This means securing an offer from Crimson at least a few months before April is critical. If you're on OPT, your employment authorization may bridge the gap. Premium processing through USCIS can reduce approval wait times to roughly 15 business days if timing is tight.
