Frame experience around B2B account management
Dealer Tire hires Sales professionals to manage dealer and OEM accounts, not transactional retail. Position your resume around territory management, wholesale relationship building, or distribution channel experience so your background maps directly to their hiring criteria.
Target roles that align with EB-2 or EB-3
Dealer Tire's sponsored Sales positions have gone through employment-based immigrant visa pathways. If your background includes a relevant bachelor's degree or substantial progressive experience in distribution sales, clarify which category you qualify for before outreach.
Confirm sponsorship intent before advancing interviews
Sponsorship decisions for Sales roles often happen at the hiring manager level, not HR. Ask directly during your first or second interview whether the specific role has been approved for PERM sponsorship, so you avoid investing weeks in a process that won't result in filing.
Understand PERM timelines relative to your current status
PERM labor certification through DOL typically takes 12 to 18 months before an I-140 petition is even filed. Map that timeline against your current visa status or any grace period you're working within so you can identify whether bridging strategies are needed.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Sales roles by sponsorship history
Searching Dealer Tire's open Sales listings manually won't tell you which positions have a real sponsorship pathway. Use Migrate Mate to filter roles at Dealer Tire by visa sponsorship track record and prioritize the positions worth pursuing.
Prepare credentials to support a specialty occupation argument
For EB-2 or EB-3 Sales roles in distribution, employers need to show the position has defined educational requirements. Gather transcripts, degree equivalency evaluations if your credential is from outside the U.S., and any certifications relevant to automotive or wholesale sales.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Dealer Tire sponsor H-1B visas for Sales?
Dealer Tire's documented sponsorship activity for Sales roles has been through employment-based immigrant visa pathways rather than H-1B visa. If you're currently on H-1B status with another employer, you could potentially transfer to Dealer Tire, but the company's own sponsorship filings for Sales have focused on Green Card pathways like EB-2 and EB-3 rather than initiating new H-1B petitions.
Which visa types are commonly used for Sales roles at Dealer Tire?
Dealer Tire has sponsored Sales talent through employment-based immigrant visa categories, specifically EB-2 and EB-3. EB-3 applies broadly to professionals and skilled workers with a relevant bachelor's degree or qualifying experience. EB-2 requires an advanced degree or demonstrated exceptional ability. Both require PERM labor certification filed with DOL before the immigrant petition moves forward.
What qualifications or experience are expected for Sales roles at Dealer Tire?
Dealer Tire operates in tire distribution and automotive wholesale, so Sales roles typically require B2B account management experience, comfort working with dealer networks or OEM partners, and the ability to manage a defined territory. A bachelor's degree in business or a related field strengthens both your candidacy and your eligibility for employment-based sponsorship categories.
How do I apply for Sales jobs at Dealer Tire?
You can browse and apply for open Sales positions at Dealer Tire through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by sponsorship history so you can prioritize listings with a real pathway. Dealer Tire posts openings across its distribution and wholesale sales teams regularly, so setting up a search with sponsorship filters will help you act quickly when relevant roles open.
How do I plan my timeline if Dealer Tire offers to sponsor my Green Card?
PERM labor certification with DOL is the first step and typically takes 12 to 18 months. After PERM approval, your employer files Form I-140 with USCIS. Depending on your country of birth and the EB-2 or EB-3 category, visa availability dates vary significantly. Start the process as early in your employment as possible and maintain valid work authorization throughout.
