Align your credentials to consulting delivery expectations
Deloitte's Platform Engineering Manager roles sit at the intersection of technical depth and client engagement. Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP paired with demonstrated program delivery experience signal readiness for the billable consulting model Deloitte expects.
Target Deloitte's federal and commercial practice units
Deloitte operates distinct federal and commercial consulting arms, each hiring Platform Engineering Managers under different clearance and visa frameworks. Identifying which practice your background fits narrows your search and connects you with the right sponsoring entity.
Search open roles through Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Platform Engineering Manager openings at Deloitte by visa type so you only apply to roles where sponsorship is actively offered. This avoids wasting time on requisitions that don't support your authorization status.
Clarify sponsorship scope before your final interview
Deloitte's offer process involves its global mobility team, not just the hiring manager. Confirm whether the offer covers H-1B transfer, new cap-subject filing, or Green Card sponsorship so there are no surprises after you accept.
Account for USCIS processing timelines in your notice period
If you need an H-1B transfer to join Deloitte, portability under a timely filed petition lets you start while the case is pending. Coordinate your resignation date with when Deloitte files the I-129 to avoid a gap in work authorization.
Prepare a consulting-style resume before applying
Deloitte's applicant tracking system and recruiters screen for engagement-based accomplishments, not just technical skills. Reframe your experience around client outcomes, platform scope, and team size managed rather than listing tools and technologies.

Find Platform Engineering Manager at Deloitte JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for Platform Engineering Managers?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for Platform Engineering Manager roles. The firm's global mobility team manages the petition process through USCIS, including cap-subject filings and H-1B transfers for candidates already holding valid status. Sponsorship is typically confirmed during the offer stage, so clarify the scope of support before signing.
How do I apply for Platform Engineering Manager jobs at Deloitte?
Applications go through Deloitte's careers portal, where you can filter by job function and location. To find roles that include visa sponsorship, use Migrate Mate to browse Platform Engineering Manager openings at Deloitte filtered by your visa type. After applying, expect an initial recruiter screen followed by technical and behavioral interview rounds focused on consulting delivery.
Which visa types does Deloitte sponsor for Platform Engineering Manager roles?
Deloitte sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for Platform Engineering Manager positions, as well as employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. H-1B is the most common route for candidates from countries outside Australia and Chile. E-3 sponsorship is available exclusively to Australian citizens and follows a separate consular process that does not involve the annual H-1B lottery.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for a Platform Engineering Manager?
Deloitte typically expects a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, along with several years of experience leading platform or infrastructure programs in complex environments. Cloud architecture credentials, experience managing cross-functional teams, and familiarity with consulting delivery frameworks strengthen your candidacy. Roles supporting federal clients may require additional security clearance eligibility.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take after receiving a Deloitte offer?
Timeline depends on your current status and the visa type involved. An H-1B transfer via portability can allow you to start within days of USCIS receiving the I-129 petition. A new cap-subject H-1B requires waiting for the April lottery and an October 1 start date at the earliest. E-3 consular processing for Australian citizens typically runs two to four weeks after the employer certifies the Labor Condition Application with the DOL.
