Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic direction across multiple paid media clients, including search, social, programmatic, video, and emerging platforms.
- Own client relationships: Act as the senior day-to-day lead, guiding client conversations, delivering presentations, and ensuring media strategy aligns with their business objectives.
- Activate & Optimize: Maintain deep hands-on-keyboard expertise in at least one performance channel (SEM, paid social, programmatic, or others) and oversee executional excellence across all channels.
- Manage a team: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of media managers and specialists, ensuring growth, performance, and collaboration across accounts.
- Drive innovation: Translate client goals into cutting-edge media solutions, leveraging 1st party data, automation, and AI where applicable.

- In-depth expertise in at least one paid channel (Search, Social, Programmatic, Retail Media, etc.).
- Proven success managing and growing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Strong people management skills — experience leading and developing junior to mid-level team members.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills; comfortable leading meetings with senior-level clients.
- A strategic mindset with strong attention to detail, timelines, and KPIs.
- Experience with tools like Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, DV360, SA360, or other media platforms and dashboards.

Target roles at the intersection of data and marketing
Direct Agents focuses on performance marketing, so candidates with skills in paid search, programmatic advertising, analytics, or marketing technology are best positioned. Highlight quantitative skills prominently, these are the roles most likely to attract H-1B sponsorship consideration.
Start with OPT or CPT if you're on an F-1 visa
Direct Agents has supported F-1 OPT and CPT candidates, making it a realistic entry point for international students. Securing a role during your OPT window gives you time to demonstrate value before a potential H-1B sponsorship conversation.
Be upfront about your visa situation early
Marketing and advertising agencies move quickly in hiring. Raising your sponsorship needs during the first or second interview prevents surprises later and signals professionalism. Direct Agents will need time to coordinate with legal counsel if sponsorship is on the table.
Research their client portfolio before applying
Direct Agents works with well-known brands across e-commerce, retail, and direct-to-consumer verticals. Tailoring your application to show relevant industry experience signals you can contribute immediately, which strengthens the business case for an employer pursuing H-1B sponsorship.
Filter for verified sponsors before you apply
Not every marketing agency has an active sponsorship history. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and focus your time on companies like Direct Agents that have actually sponsored visas before.
Understand the H-1B lottery timing before setting expectations
If you need H-1B sponsorship from Direct Agents, align your job search timeline with the annual lottery registration window in March. Starting conversations with the company in late fall or early winter gives both sides enough runway to prepare properly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Direct Agents sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Direct Agents has sponsored H-1B visas for international professionals. While it is not among the highest-volume sponsors in the marketing and advertising industry, it has an established track record of supporting H-1B candidates. Roles in performance marketing, analytics, and digital strategy are most likely to be considered for sponsorship.
Which visa types does Direct Agents support?
Direct Agents sponsors H-1B visas and has supported candidates on F-1 OPT and F-1 CPT. This makes it a particularly accessible employer for international students completing U.S. degrees in marketing, business, or data-related fields. TN visa holders may also be eligible depending on the role and citizenship.
Which departments or roles at Direct Agents are most likely to be sponsored?
Sponsorship at Direct Agents tends to align with its core service areas: paid media, search engine marketing, programmatic advertising, and analytics. Candidates applying for specialist or senior-level roles in these disciplines have the strongest case for sponsorship, as these positions require specialized expertise that supports the H-1B specialty occupation standard.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Direct Agents?
Migrate Mate lets you search for open roles at companies with verified sponsorship histories, including Direct Agents. Instead of guessing which employers will sponsor, you can filter by visa type and company to find positions where sponsorship is a realistic outcome, saving time and reducing uncertainty in your job search.
How do I approach the application process at Direct Agents as an international candidate?
Apply to roles that closely match your background in marketing or analytics, and be transparent about your visa status early in the process. If you are on F-1 OPT, emphasize your available work authorization timeline. For H-1B sponsorship, initiate the conversation no later than the second interview round so the company has time to engage immigration counsel and meet USCIS filing deadlines.
