Align your degree to Braze's role requirements
Braze's E-3 roles in marketing technology and engineering require a degree that directly relates to the position. Use O*NET to confirm your field of study maps to the job code before applying, since a mismatch will sink the Labor Condition Application.
Target product and customer success teams
Braze hires E-3 candidates most consistently in product management, software engineering, and customer success functions. Tailor your application materials to show how your technical or analytical background serves their customer engagement platform specifically.
Confirm specialty occupation status before interviewing
Braze operates in a competitive SaaS environment where some marketing operations roles get classified as generalist rather than specialty occupation. Review the position description carefully to confirm it requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field, not just any degree.
Request LCA filing before your start date
Your employer must file and receive DOL certification for the Labor Condition Application before you can attend your consular interview. Ask Braze's HR or immigration team for a projected LCA filing timeline during the offer negotiation stage to avoid gaps.
Check your prevailing wage tier using OFLC Wage Search
Braze must pay you at least the prevailing wage for your role and work location. Run the OFLC Wage Search using your job title and the relevant metropolitan area before accepting an offer, so you can spot any wage discrepancy early.
Use Migrate Mate to file your E-3 once you have your LCA
Once Braze provides your certified LCA and offer letter, use Migrate Mate to handle the E-3 filing at a flat fee. Their dedicated E-3 experts manage the paperwork so you can focus on your start date rather than navigating USCIS documentation alone.
Braze E-3 Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Braze sponsor E-3 visas?
Yes, Braze sponsors E-3 visas for eligible Australian nationals. The company supports international hiring across technical and go-to-market functions, and its immigration process includes Labor Condition Application filing through DOL. Sponsorship is typically tied to roles that meet the specialty occupation standard, meaning they require a directly related bachelor's degree or higher.
Which roles at Braze typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
E-3 sponsorship at Braze is most common for software engineers, product managers, data analysts, and customer success managers in technical roles. These positions generally satisfy the specialty occupation requirement because they demand a degree in a specific field such as computer science, engineering, or business analytics. Generalist or coordinator-level roles are less likely to qualify.
How do I start the E-3 application process at Braze?
Once Braze extends a written job offer, their HR or immigration team initiates the Labor Condition Application with DOL. After DOL certifies the LCA, you schedule a consular interview at a U.S. embassy or consulate in Australia. You don't need to file anything with USCIS for a consular E-3, which keeps the process faster than most other work visa categories.
How long does the E-3 sponsorship process take at Braze?
The DOL typically certifies an LCA within seven business days of submission. After that, consular appointment availability in Australia drives most of the timeline variance. Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth all process E-3 applications, with wait times ranging from a few weeks to a couple of months depending on demand. Factor this into your negotiated start date with Braze.
How do I find and apply for E-3 jobs at Braze?
Search Braze's careers page for roles in engineering, product, or customer success that match your degree field, then confirm the position description references specific educational requirements rather than a general preference. Migrate Mate's job board filters for employers with active E-3 sponsorship history, which can help you verify Braze's sponsorship status and identify comparable roles across the marketing technology sector.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 sponsorship at Braze?
E-3 employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, determined when they file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, ensuring Australian hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
