Align your credentials with specialty occupation standards
Healthcare roles at Encompass must meet the E-3 specialty occupation definition, meaning your degree must directly relate to the position. Check the O*NET profile for your target role to confirm the typical education requirement before applying.
Target roles requiring licensed clinical professionals
Encompass focuses on community health and social services, so E-3 sponsorship is most viable for roles like counselors, case managers, and allied health professionals where a relevant bachelor's degree or higher is a hiring prerequisite, not just preferred.
Verify your wage offer meets prevailing wage requirements
Before you receive a formal offer, use the OFLC Wage Search to check the prevailing wage for your occupation and location. Encompass must certify this in the Labor Condition Application, so knowing the benchmark protects you in salary negotiations.
Confirm Encompass will file the LCA before your interview
The Labor Condition Application must be certified by DOL before you can attend your consulate interview. Ask your Encompass HR contact for the LCA certification notice and employer identification number, since the consular officer will expect these documents.
Use Migrate Mate to prepare your E-3 filing documents
Once Encompass confirms sponsorship, Migrate Mate's dedicated E-3 visa experts can handle your application paperwork at a flat fee, ensuring your DS-160, support letter, and LCA are correctly formatted before your consulate appointment.
Plan your consulate appointment around program start dates
Community health organizations like Encompass often have structured onboarding tied to program cycles or grant periods. Book your consulate appointment at least six to eight weeks before your intended start date to account for administrative processing delays.
Encompass Community Services E-3 Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Encompass Community Services sponsor E-3 visas?
Yes, Encompass Community Services sponsors E-3 visas for Australian professionals in healthcare and community services roles. Sponsorship is tied to positions that qualify as specialty occupations under E-3 requirements, meaning the role must typically require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. Confirm with the hiring team early in the process that the specific role you're applying for has been sponsored before.
Which roles at Encompass Community Services are most likely to qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
Roles in clinical services, behavioral health, case management, and allied health are the most common E-3 candidates at Encompass. These positions typically require a relevant degree, which satisfies the E-3 specialty occupation standard. Administrative or generalist roles without a degree-specific requirement are less likely to qualify, so review the job description carefully and cross-check with USCIS specialty occupation guidance.
How do I start the E-3 application process with Encompass Community Services?
After receiving a job offer, Encompass's HR or legal team files a Labor Condition Application with DOL. Once certified, you complete the DS-160, pay the visa application fee, and attend a consulate interview in Australia with the LCA, offer letter, and degree documents. Migrate Mate can help you organize and prepare your application package before the interview to reduce errors and delays.
How long does the E-3 sponsorship process take at Encompass Community Services?
The DOL LCA certification typically takes around seven business days. After that, consulate appointment availability in Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth determines the overall timeline, which can range from a few weeks to several months depending on current wait times. Build at least six to eight weeks into your planning from offer acceptance to your intended U.S. start date, and check USCIS for any updated processing guidance.
What documents should I prepare before approaching Encompass Community Services about E-3 sponsorship?
Have your academic transcripts, degree certificates, professional licenses, and any credential evaluations ready before the offer stage. For healthcare roles, state licensure or certification documentation is often required before Encompass can finalize a specialty occupation determination. Organizing these ahead of time speeds up the LCA filing and signals to the employer that you're prepared for a smooth sponsorship process.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 sponsorship at Encompass Community Services?
E-3 employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, determined when they file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, ensuring Australian hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
