Align your credentials to specialty occupation standards
Galaxy Digital Services files E-3 petitions under specialty occupation classifications tied to finance and digital asset roles. Pull the relevant O*NET occupation profile for your target title and confirm your degree field directly supports it before you apply, misalignment is the most common petition stumbling block.
Research prevailing wage levels before negotiating
Galaxy Digital Services must certify your offered salary meets DOL wage standards in the Labor Condition Application. Run your target role and location through the OFLC Wage Search before salary discussions so you're not caught off guard if the firm's offer needs to match a higher wage level than expected.
Confirm your degree equivalency early in the process
Australian three-year bachelor's degrees generally satisfy U.S. specialty occupation requirements, but Galaxy Digital Services's HR or legal team may request a credential evaluation. Commission a foreign credential evaluation from a recognized evaluation service before receiving your offer to avoid delays during the LCA certification stage.
Use Migrate Mate to prepare your E-3 filing documents
Once Galaxy Digital Services extends an offer, Migrate Mate's dedicated E-3 visa experts handle the petition paperwork at a flat fee, coordinating directly with you on the LCA and DS-160. This is especially useful if the firm's internal immigration process is new or if you're managing a tight consulate appointment timeline.
Target Galaxy Digital's quantitative and compliance hiring cycles
Galaxy Digital Services tends to hire for quantitative research, risk, and regulatory compliance roles where specialty occupation credentials are clearest. Timing your application to align with Q1 and Q3 budget cycles, when financial services firms typically open headcount, improves your chances of landing a role with active E-3 sponsorship intent.
Clarify sponsorship scope during the offer stage
Not every Galaxy Digital Services role carries E-3 sponsorship from the outset. During offer negotiations, ask specifically whether the position budget includes LCA filing and legal costs, and confirm the firm's immigration counsel handles the DOL certification, so there's no gap between acceptance and your consulate appointment date.
Galaxy E-3 Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Galaxy Digital Services sponsor E-3 visas?
Yes, Galaxy Digital Services sponsors E-3 visas for eligible Australian professionals in roles that meet the specialty occupation definition, including positions in investment management, digital assets, quantitative research, and compliance. Sponsorship is tied to specific headcount and role type, so confirming sponsorship availability during the offer stage is essential.
Which roles at Galaxy Digital Services typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
E-3 sponsorship at Galaxy Digital Services is most commonly associated with roles requiring specialized financial or technical degrees, such as quantitative analyst, portfolio manager, compliance officer, and financial engineer positions. Roles in digital asset strategy and institutional trading also tend to qualify, given their degree-specific specialty occupation requirements.
How does the E-3 application process work at Galaxy Digital Services?
Galaxy Digital Services initiates the process by filing a Labor Condition Application with the DOL, which certifies your offered salary meets prevailing wage standards. Once the LCA is certified, you complete the DS-160, schedule a consulate interview in Australia, and attend the appointment with your LCA, offer letter, and supporting credentials.
How long does E-3 visa processing take with Galaxy Digital Services as my sponsor?
LCA certification from DOL typically takes around seven business days. Consulate appointment wait times in Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth vary by season and can range from a few weeks to several months. USCIS is not involved in E-3 consular processing, so overall timelines depend primarily on consulate availability at the time you schedule.
How do I find and apply for E-3 roles at Galaxy Digital Services?
Migrate Mate lists open roles at employers with verified E-3 LCA filing history, including firms in investment management and digital assets. Search for Galaxy Digital Services-affiliated positions filtered by E-3 sponsorship, then confirm with the recruiter during your first conversation that the specific role includes E-3 sponsorship before progressing through the interview process.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 sponsorship at Galaxy Digital Services?
E-3 employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, determined when they file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, ensuring Australian hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
