Align your degree to distribution roles
E-3 requires a specialty occupation, so map your Australian degree directly to the role's requirements. In wholesale and distribution, supply chain management, business logistics, or operations degrees carry the strongest match for USCIS scrutiny.
Research prevailing wage before negotiating
Use the OFLC Wage Search to find the DOL wage level for your target role and metro area before any offer discussion. Leap Group Holdings must certify your salary meets prevailing wage on the LCA, so knowing Level I through IV ranges protects you from low-ball offers.
Confirm the role qualifies as specialty occupation
Distribution and wholesale companies sometimes post hybrid roles mixing clerical and analytical duties. Cross-check your job title against O*NET to verify the occupation typically requires a bachelor's degree, since USCIS can deny E-3 if the role appears generalist.
Ask about LCA timing in the offer stage
Your E-3 process can't start until Leap Group Holdings files and receives a certified LCA from DOL. Ask HR directly whether they've run LCA filings before and who manages the process, because first-time sponsors can add weeks to your timeline.
Use Migrate Mate to track Leap Group Holdings filings
Search Leap Group Holdings on Migrate Mate to review their E-3 Labor Condition Application history by role and location. This lets you target the specific job titles and offices where E-3 sponsorship has actually been approved before you apply.
Prepare Australian credential documentation early
Australian three-year bachelor's degrees are generally accepted as equivalent to U.S. four-year degrees for E-3 purposes, but gather your official transcripts and a credential evaluation letter before the offer stage so the employer's filing isn't delayed waiting on documents.
Leap Group Holdings E-3 Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Leap Group Holdings sponsor E-3 visas?
Yes, Leap Group Holdings has sponsored E-3 visas for Australian professionals in the Distribution & Wholesale industry. Sponsorship is tied to specific roles that qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS standards, so eligibility depends on whether the position requires a relevant bachelor's degree and matches your credentials.
Which roles at Leap Group Holdings typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
Roles in supply chain analysis, operations management, logistics planning, and business development are the most likely candidates for E-3 sponsorship in a distribution and wholesale company. Positions that combine a specific degree requirement with analytical or managerial responsibilities tend to meet the specialty occupation threshold USCIS applies.
How do I start the E-3 application process at Leap Group Holdings?
Once Leap Group Holdings extends a job offer, they file a Labor Condition Application with DOL for certification. After LCA approval, you complete the DS-160, pay the MRV fee, and attend a consular interview in Australia. Migrate Mate can handle the filing paperwork on the employer's behalf if they need support navigating the process.
How long does E-3 sponsorship take at Leap Group Holdings?
LCA certification from DOL typically takes around seven business days. Consular appointment availability in Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth then drives most of the overall timeline, which commonly runs three to eight weeks from offer to visa stamp depending on post workload and whether administrative processing is triggered.
What can I do to strengthen my E-3 application at Leap Group Holdings?
Ensure your job title and duties description clearly reflect a specialty occupation before the LCA is filed, since vague role definitions are a common reason USCIS scrutinizes E-3 petitions. Provide your Australian degree transcripts and a credential evaluation early, and confirm with HR that your offered salary meets or exceeds the DOL prevailing wage for the role.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 sponsorship at Leap Group Holdings?
E-3 employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, determined when they file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, ensuring Australian hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
