Align Your Credentials to Flow Control Standards
Flowserve manufactures pumps, valves, and seals for industrial process applications. Certifications in fluid systems, pressure vessel design, or ASME standards make your profile directly relevant and strengthen the case for sponsorship when the company files with DOL.
Target Plant Locations with Active Hiring
Flowserve operates manufacturing facilities across Texas, North Carolina, and several international hubs. Roles at sites with active production lines are more likely to generate sponsorship filings than corporate or sales positions, so filter your search by facility type.
Understand How PERM Timelines Affect Your Offer
EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship requires PERM labor certification from DOL before USCIS can adjudicate the petition. Processing can run 12 to 18 months or longer, so clarify with your recruiter whether Flowserve initiates PERM at offer or after a qualifying employment period.
Browse Flowserve Manufacturing Roles on Migrate Mate
Filtering by visa type and industry saves significant time when you're working against OPT or grace period deadlines. Use Migrate Mate to surface open Manufacturing positions at Flowserve and confirm sponsorship eligibility before you apply.
Prepare for Skills-Based Technical Screening
Flowserve Manufacturing interviews typically assess hands-on process knowledge, not just academic credentials. Documenting specific experience with CNC machining, lean manufacturing, or metallurgical quality control gives you concrete evidence to present during technical rounds and supports the specialty occupation case for USCIS.

Find Manufacturing at Flowserve JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Flowserve sponsor H-1B visas for Manufacturing roles?
Flowserve's Manufacturing sponsorship history is centered on Green Card pathways, specifically EB-2 and EB-3, rather than H-1B cap-subject petitions. F-1 OPT is the more common entry point for international candidates in this function. If you're pursuing H-1B sponsorship specifically, confirm the role's eligibility with the recruiter early in the process, since not all Manufacturing positions meet the specialty occupation threshold USCIS requires.
How do I apply for Manufacturing jobs at Flowserve?
Applications go through Flowserve's careers portal, where Manufacturing roles are listed by facility and job family. To find positions already filtered for visa sponsorship eligibility, browse Migrate Mate's job board, which surfaces Flowserve Manufacturing openings alongside sponsorship details. Tailor your resume to reflect process manufacturing experience relevant to Flowserve's core product lines, including pumps, valves, and seals.
Which visa types does Flowserve commonly use for Manufacturing positions?
Flowserve's track record for Manufacturing shows primary use of EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa categories, which are employer-sponsored Green Card pathways, and F-1 OPT for recent graduates in engineering or manufacturing disciplines. EB-3 is the more commonly used category for skilled production and technical roles, while EB-2 applies where the position requires an advanced degree or demonstrably exceptional qualifications.
What qualifications does Flowserve expect for Manufacturing roles?
Flowserve's Manufacturing openings typically require a bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or materials engineering, or a related technical field. Practical experience with precision manufacturing, quality management systems such as ISO 9001, or fluid handling equipment strengthens your application considerably. Roles tied to Green Card sponsorship often require demonstrating that no equally qualified U.S. worker is available, so niche technical expertise works in your favor during the PERM recruitment phase.
How long does the sponsorship process take for a Flowserve Manufacturing role?
If you start on F-1 OPT, you can begin work immediately while longer-term sponsorship is arranged. An EB-3 Green Card through PERM typically involves a DOL labor certification phase of 12 to 18 months, followed by USCIS petition adjudication and, depending on your country of birth, a potentially extended priority date wait. Clarifying Flowserve's internal policy on when they initiate PERM filings relative to your start date is a critical early conversation to have.
