Align your credentials with Danfoss's technical stack
Danfoss manufactures drives, heating, and cooling systems, so degrees in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering carry the most weight. Frame your resume around process optimization, lean manufacturing, or automation systems to match their production environment.
Search open manufacturing roles on Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate filters Danfoss's manufacturing openings by visa type, so you can identify which roles are actively sponsoring before you apply. This saves time you'd otherwise spend vetting postings that don't match your authorization needs.
Understand how Danfoss structures H-1B sponsorship
H-1B sponsorship at manufacturing companies typically begins after a formal offer. Ask your recruiter during the offer stage whether Danfoss files cap-subject or cap-exempt petitions, and confirm whether premium processing is available if your start date is time-sensitive.
Prepare for DOL prevailing wage requirements early
Manufacturing roles require USCIS and DOL to verify your offered wage meets the prevailing wage for your job location and title. Research DOL wage levels for your specific manufacturing function and metro area so you can negotiate salary within a compliant range from the start.
Position yourself for PERM-based Green Card pathways
Danfoss sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for manufacturing talent, which require PERM labor certification. The PERM process can take a year or more, so raise long-term sponsorship intentions during the offer negotiation phase rather than after your first year.

Find Manufacturing at Danfoss JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Danfoss sponsor H-1B visas for Manufacturing roles?
Yes, Danfoss sponsors H-1B visas for manufacturing positions. Sponsorship is typically initiated after a formal job offer and requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards. Manufacturing engineering and technical operations roles generally meet this threshold. Confirm the specific sponsorship process with your recruiter during the offer stage, including whether premium processing is available.
How do I apply for Manufacturing jobs at Danfoss?
Apply directly through the Danfoss careers portal, or use Migrate Mate to browse their current manufacturing openings filtered by visa sponsorship type. Tailor your application to highlight technical manufacturing skills relevant to Danfoss's product areas, such as drives, industrial automation, or thermal management systems. Visa sponsorship is handled after a formal offer is extended.
Which visa types does Danfoss commonly use for Manufacturing positions?
Danfoss supports multiple visa categories for manufacturing roles, including H-1B for specialty occupation hires, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying engineering roles, F-1 OPT and CPT for recent graduates, J-1 for training-based placements, and EB-2 or EB-3 immigrant visas for candidates pursuing a Green Card through employer-sponsored PERM labor certification.
What qualifications does Danfoss expect for sponsored Manufacturing roles?
Most sponsored manufacturing positions at Danfoss require a bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering. Hands-on experience with automation systems, lean manufacturing principles, or process improvement methodologies strengthens your candidacy. For H-1B eligibility, your degree must directly relate to the duties of the specific role you are applying for, as required by USCIS specialty occupation standards.
How do I manage the visa filing timeline after receiving an offer from Danfoss?
If you're on F-1 OPT, ensure your remaining work authorization covers the period until H-1B status takes effect, which is typically October 1 following an April lottery filing. Cap-gap protections may extend your OPT if your I-20 is timely extended. For TN or H-1B transfers from another employer, Danfoss can file a petition allowing you to begin work once USCIS receives it, without waiting for approval.
