Align your credentials to Genpact's delivery model
Genpact VPs are expected to own P&L, manage multi-region teams, and drive client transformation. Before applying, frame your resume around quantified business outcomes and industry verticals Genpact serves, such as financial services, life sciences, or manufacturing.
Target VP postings tied to global delivery centers
Genpact's VP hiring concentrates around its delivery hubs rather than purely client-facing offices. Roles linked to these centers are more likely to move through internal immigration teams familiar with H-1B and EB-2 sponsorship workflows for senior hires.
Search open VP roles directly on Migrate Mate
Filter for Genpact VP openings on Migrate Mate to surface only roles where sponsorship has been verified. This saves you from applying to positions where sponsorship eligibility is ambiguous for senior-level candidates.
Clarify sponsorship scope before final negotiations
At the VP level, Genpact's offer process can move quickly. Before signing, confirm in writing whether your package includes H-1B transfer, premium processing, and Green Card support through PERM or the national interest waiver pathway.
Prepare for LCA prevailing wage scrutiny at VP level
DOL prevailing wage determinations for VP-level consulting roles are frequently placed at Wage Level IV. Ensure your offered compensation meets or exceeds that threshold before your employer files the Labor Condition Application, or adjudication risk increases.
Build internal sponsorship advocates during the interview process
Genpact VP interviews typically include multiple rounds with practice leaders and HR business partners. Identifying a senior internal champion who understands Genpact's visa sponsorship process significantly smooths the handoff from offer acceptance to petition filing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Genpact sponsor H-1B visas for Vice Presidents?
Yes. Genpact sponsors H-1B visas for Vice President roles and has done so across multiple practice areas including consulting, operations, and technology services. At the VP level, sponsorship often includes H-1B transfer from a prior employer and, in many cases, employer-supported Green Card sponsorship through PERM or EB-2 channels depending on the role and candidate profile.
How do I apply for Vice President jobs at Genpact?
Applications go through Genpact's careers portal. You can also find verified VP openings with confirmed sponsorship eligibility on Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for roles open to visa holders. Given the seniority of VP positions, tailoring your application to Genpact's industry verticals and referencing measurable client impact improves response rates substantially.
Which visa types does Genpact commonly use for Vice President hires?
Genpact sponsors H-1B and E-3 visas for VP-level roles, along with TN visa status for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying specialty occupations. Candidates already on F-1 OPT can also be considered during their authorization period. For longer-term employment, Genpact has pathways supporting EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship for senior hires.
What qualifications does Genpact expect for Vice President candidates needing sponsorship?
VP candidates are generally expected to bring deep domain expertise in a vertical Genpact serves, such as banking, insurance, or pharmaceuticals, combined with demonstrated experience managing large consulting engagements or transformation programs. A relevant graduate degree strengthens both your candidacy and the specialty occupation determination USCIS requires for H-1B approval at this level.
How do I time my application given H-1B cap deadlines?
If you need a new H-1B rather than a transfer, registrations open in March for an October 1 start date. Genpact's size means it files regularly each cycle, but you should have an offer in place well before the March registration window. If you're already on a valid H-1B with another employer, a transfer can happen year-round with no lottery exposure.
