SUMMARY
Kitchen operator will operate hot pans while maintaining all aspects of the kitchen cooking process, this is including following operation formulas according to customer requirements. The process will entail the following, daily preparation, mixing and blending sugar solutions and ingredients. The operator will maintain 5s, clean and organize, changeovers (SSOP), HACCP forms, consumption of materials. Operator will be responsible for duties assigned while performing a diversity of functions, and including the packaging of items produced. The kitchen cook will communicate and document efficiency standards while reporting inefficiencies to supervisor.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Will inspect and prep equipment prior to start-up.
- Fill out material worksheets and production reports for all production in the kitchen.
- Report any problems (equipment, material shortages, formulas, and employees) to the supervisor as they occur.
- Report scrap according to procedures.
- Ensure efficient production.
- Report total amount of finished product, full and partial cases.
- Fill out machine time, production report; collect labor reports and material worksheets from kitchen.
- Record all materials used in the production batch order. All materials will be documented.
- Fill out batch log sheets for all products that require them.
- Keep entire work area clean and organized at all times.
- Fill out inventory ID sheets for all completed pallets, attach to pallets and shrink-wrap.
- Maintain cleanliness and operation of equipment.
- Follow all procedures related to job responsibilities.
- Report to the operator any equipment, quality, formula, and shortage of material problems as they occur.
- Keep area clean and organized at all times.

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- Standing on a concrete floor.
- Wearing proper personal protective equipment (hair net, bump cap, ear plugs, safety shoes, and uniform).
- Bending, stooping, twist, turn, standing for extended time periods, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Required to work weekends during peak season.
- Required to work mandatory overtime when needed.

- Have a High school diploma, GED and/or equivalent education.
- Associate shall at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior with co-workers, supervisors, and managers.

- Wearing proper personal protective equipment (hair net, bump cap, safety glasses, ear plugs, safety shoes, and uniform).
- Associate must work well under pressure; meet multiple and sometimes completing deadlines.
- Work area is to be kept clean at all times.
