Frame credentials around SaaS delivery metrics
Gong evaluates program managers on their ability to drive cross-functional execution in a fast-moving product environment. Translate your experience into outcomes like reduced cycle times, launched integrations, or scaled go-to-market programs before you apply.
Target open roles tied to product launches
Gong consistently opens Project Program Manager headcount around major product cycles and sales expansion pushes. Roles attached to active initiatives are more likely to move quickly through the offer stage, which keeps your sponsorship timeline tighter.
Confirm EB-2 or EB-3 eligibility before accepting an offer
Gong sponsors employment-based Green Cards for this function. Clarify early whether your background supports an EB-2 advanced degree petition or routes through EB-3. The distinction affects how long PERM labor certification takes and when you can file your I-140.
Ask about PERM timing during offer negotiation
The PERM process through DOL typically runs six to twelve months before an I-140 can be filed. Ask the recruiting team when they expect to initiate it so you can plan around your current visa status and any grace period windows.
Build a portfolio of Gong-relevant program artifacts
Hiring managers at Gong look for evidence of structured program thinking: roadmaps, RACI charts, and OKR tracking tied to revenue or retention goals. Prepare two or three concise examples from past roles that mirror Gong's revenue intelligence or customer success context.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Project Program Manager roles
Not all Gong postings surface sponsorship eligibility clearly. Use Migrate Mate to filter Project Program Manager openings at Gong specifically by visa type, so you're only spending time on roles where your immigration status is already accounted for.

Find Project Program Manager at Gong JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Gong sponsor H-1B visas for Project Program Managers?
Gong's sponsorship activity for Project Program Manager roles has centered on employment-based Green Card pathways such as EB-2 and EB-3 rather than H-1B transfers. If you're currently on an H-1B and targeting Gong, confirm with the recruiting team whether they'll file an H-1B transfer in addition to initiating a PERM-based Green Card process.
Which visa types are commonly used for Project Program Manager roles at Gong?
EB-2 and EB-3 are the visa categories Gong has used for this function. EB-2 applies if you hold an advanced degree or can demonstrate exceptional ability. EB-3 covers professionals with a bachelor's degree. Both routes require PERM labor certification filed with the DOL before USCIS can adjudicate the I-140 immigrant petition.
What qualifications and experience does Gong expect for Project Program Manager roles?
Gong typically looks for program managers with experience coordinating complex, cross-functional initiatives in a SaaS or enterprise software environment. Familiarity with go-to-market execution, product launch cycles, and data-driven program tracking is relevant. PMP certification helps but is rarely listed as a hard requirement. Demonstrated ownership of multi-stakeholder programs in a high-growth company carries more weight.
How do I apply for Project Program Manager jobs at Gong?
You can browse current Project Program Manager openings at Gong through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship eligibility so you can confirm your visa type is supported before applying. When you apply directly through Gong's careers portal, tailor your resume to reflect cross-functional program delivery in SaaS contexts, and flag your sponsorship needs in the initial recruiter screen rather than waiting until the offer stage.
How do I plan my timeline if Gong sponsors my Green Card as a Project Program Manager?
The PERM labor certification process with DOL typically takes six to twelve months. After approval, Gong files an I-140 with USCIS, which can be adjudicated in roughly six to eight months under standard processing. Your priority date then determines how long you wait for a visa number to become available, which varies significantly based on your country of birth. Starting this process while you still have valid status is critical.
