Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Business Data Analyst Jobs at Google Jobs
Tailor your portfolio to Google's data stack
Google Business Data Analyst roles consistently require proficiency in SQL, BigQuery, and Looker. Build and document portfolio projects using these tools specifically, because hiring managers screen for hands-on fluency, not just familiarity listed on a resume.
Distinguish analyst tracks before you apply
Google posts Business Data Analyst roles across multiple product areas, including Ads, Cloud, and YouTube. Targeting a specific vertical lets you align your application materials to that team's business context, which meaningfully improves your chances of clearing the initial recruiter screen.
Research which visa category fits your background
Google sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for this role. If you're Australian, the E-3 avoids the H-1B lottery entirely and can be filed directly at a U.S. consulate. Confirm with your recruiter early which category applies to your nationality and current status.
Clarify Google's internal sponsorship process at the offer stage
Large tech employers like Google use in-house immigration teams rather than outside counsel for initial filings. Ask your recruiter at the offer stage whether your role qualifies for premium processing, which reduces USCIS adjudication to 15 business days and gives you a firm start date to plan around.
Use Migrate Mate to surface verified sponsorship openings
Finding Business Data Analyst roles where Google is actively hiring and sponsoring visas requires filtering beyond standard job boards. Migrate Mate curates verified sponsorship-eligible listings so you can focus your applications on roles where the visa pathway is already confirmed.

Find Business Data Analyst at Google JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Google sponsor H-1B visas for Business Data Analysts?
Yes, Google sponsors H-1B visas for Business Data Analyst roles. The role qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS guidelines because it requires at minimum a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as statistics, economics, computer science, or a related quantitative discipline. Google's in-house immigration team manages the filing process once an offer is extended.
Which visa types does Google use for Business Data Analyst roles?
Google sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for Business Data Analyst positions. The H-1B applies to most nationalities but requires clearing the annual lottery. The H-1B1 is available to citizens of Chile and Singapore, and the E-3 is available exclusively to Australian citizens. Both the H-1B1 and E-3 bypass the H-1B lottery entirely, which makes timeline planning more predictable.
How do I apply for Business Data Analyst jobs at Google?
Applications go through Google's careers portal at careers.google.com. Search for Business Data Analyst roles filtered by location and team. Google's hiring process typically involves an initial recruiter screen, one or two technical rounds focused on SQL and analytical problem-solving, and a final round of case-based interviews. Visa sponsorship is discussed after an offer is extended, not during early screening rounds.
What qualifications does Google expect for Business Data Analyst candidates needing sponsorship?
Google expects a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, economics, or computer science, along with demonstrated experience in SQL, data visualization tools, and cross-functional stakeholder work. For visa purposes, your degree must align with the role's specialty occupation classification. Candidates with degrees from outside the U.S. may need a credential evaluation to confirm equivalency before USCIS adjudicates the petition.
How do I find Business Data Analyst roles at Google that offer visa sponsorship?
Not every Business Data Analyst posting at Google explicitly states visa sponsorship availability upfront. Migrate Mate aggregates sponsorship-verified job listings, including open roles at Google, so you can identify positions where the visa pathway is confirmed before investing time in the application process. This is especially useful if you're on OPT with a limited runway and need to prioritize employers actively filing.
