Target clinical therapy roles first
Aegis Therapies' Green Card sponsorship is concentrated in patient-facing clinical positions. Focus your applications on occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech-language pathology roles, where the company has an established history of supporting international hires.
Understand the EB-2 vs. EB-3 distinction
Aegis Therapies sponsors both EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards. Which category applies to you depends on your credentials and the specific role. Physical and occupational therapists often qualify under EB-3, while advanced clinical or supervisory positions may support an EB-2 filing.
Ask about PERM labor certification early
The Green Card process at Aegis Therapies begins with PERM labor certification, which the company files on your behalf. Raise the timeline with your recruiter before accepting an offer so you understand where sponsorship fits in your onboarding.
Prioritize roles in shortage regions
Aegis Therapies operates across long-term care and rehabilitation facilities nationwide. Positions in underserved or rural locations often move through the hiring process faster, which can align well with PERM filing timelines and improve your chances of securing sponsorship.
Use verified sponsorship data when job searching
Not every Aegis Therapies listing will explicitly mention Green Card sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you identify which roles and locations at Aegis Therapies have supported Green Card filings.
Clarify sponsorship terms in writing before you accept
Green Card sponsorship commitments can vary by facility and contract type. Before signing, confirm whether Aegis Therapies covers PERM and I-140 filing fees, and ask what happens to your sponsorship if your assignment location changes during the process.
Aegis Therapies Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Aegis Therapies sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Aegis Therapies sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees. The company files under the EB-2 and EB-3 preference categories, primarily for clinical healthcare professionals. Sponsorship is tied to specific roles and locations, so availability can vary. Confirming sponsorship eligibility directly with the hiring team before applying is the most reliable approach.
Which roles at Aegis Therapies are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Aegis Therapies is most common in licensed clinical roles, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists. These positions consistently require specialized credentials and are in sustained demand across the company's long-term care and rehabilitation facilities, making them the strongest candidates for employer-sponsored permanent residency.
How does the Green Card application process work at Aegis Therapies?
The process begins with PERM labor certification, which Aegis Therapies files with the Department of Labor to demonstrate no qualified U.S. workers are available for the role. Once certified, the company submits an I-140 immigrant petition on your behalf. After approval, you either adjust status in the U.S. or complete consular processing abroad, depending on your current visa situation.
How long does it take to get a Green Card through Aegis Therapies?
The timeline depends on your country of birth and the preference category. PERM labor certification alone can take several months. If you're born in a country without significant visa backlogs, the full process from PERM to Green Card approval can take one to three years. Applicants born in India or China typically face longer waits due to per-country limits.
How do I improve my chances of getting Green Card sponsorship at Aegis Therapies?
Apply for licensed clinical positions where Aegis Therapies has a documented sponsorship track record, and raise the topic with recruiters early in the process. Migrate Mate can help you identify which specific roles and locations at Aegis Therapies have supported Green Card filings, so you're targeting positions with real sponsorship potential rather than relying on job descriptions alone.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Aegis Therapies?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
